I was totally confused listening to Holdbrooke's assessment of Kerry on BOR tonigh. Why? Because he implied that Kerry is a hawk. Asked why Kerry vetoed against the first Gulf War, the pathetic Holdbrooke said because Kerry wanted to involve the whole world to remove Saddam from Kuwait. The whole world.
BOR continues to throw garbage of saying that the Bush's admin has made a mistake (sometimes he called it huge mistake) in Iraq. BOR never reports good news from Iraq. Or if there was, perhaps the ratio of bad news to good news is similar to that of the New York Times 350:1.
Bill O'Reilly is playing at Kerry's hand. No question about it! _________________ All truth passes through three stages. First, it is ridiculed. Second, it is violently opposed. Third, it is accepted as being self-evident. |

Holbrooke is another fine example of the Clinton stable of foreign policy experts.
It is the stupidity of people like Holbrooke, Madeline Albright, Sandy Berger, Warren Christopher, Anthony Lake and many others that led directly to 9/11. God help us if Kerry wins and staffs his administration with Clinton retreads like Holbrooke. _________________ "The price of freedom is eternal vigilence" - Thomas Jefferson

Rush said on Friday's show that Kerry appears to look down on
everyone else. Holbrooke is cut from the same cloth as Kerry.
He is an arrogant elitist. His foreign policy failures have already
been noted in this thread. I am amazed that the MSM still considers
him an expert in that area. _________________ Susan R. Morton |

I was STUNNED when I heard Holbrooke's attempted explanation to BOR about why Kerry voted against the first Gulf War - Here's what I think he said:
Kerry wanted to go more through the U.N. (ummm, Bush 41 HAD a U.N. resolution BEFORE it came to a vote in the Senate, bumblehead).
then he fumbled & said he thought we should have waited for 'other methods' to be tried - for example - sanctions. (ummm, idiot - Saddam invaded another country and was killing Kuwaitis - he took over 600 POWs that were never returned to Kuwait, btw.)
How many Kuwaitis died before we went in to push Saddam out - anyone know? _________________ -------------------

I missed that interview. Kerry can't explain his vote on the first Gulf war but I can. He's anti-war, liberal globalist. His entire foriegn policy campaign has been based on that premise and it's going to cost him the election. _________________ Bill Hershey

How many times did this jerk quote the NY Times, it seemed like every talking point came from that rag. _________________ "We cannot win this election" - John Fraud Kerry 11/3/04

Pretty sad that Kerry's "Secretary of State" would be quoting from a newspaper that at least half the country thinks is extremely biased, the half that Holbrooke needs to convince!
Quoting a newspaper that itself uses unattributed and anonymous (alleged) quotes! It's laughable! |
