George Bush has endured one personal attack after another by Kerry and the Democratic Party. Even Laura Bush has been attacked. And even yesterday in the Guardian, rationalization for assassination of George Bush was discussed.
And we all know the cruelty of the attack against Dick Cheney's daughter, Mary.
If the tables were turned and George Bush was the cancer survivor, I have no doubt he would be attacked by the Democrats as the side effects of having major surgery and removing the prostate is possible incontinence, probable impotence and certain infertility.
McAuliffe and the gang will attack Bush and Cheney at any level. |

do you mean this attack of Mary Cheney:
New York, NY, Sep. 1 (UPI) -- Illinois Republican U.S. Senate hopeful Alan Keyes reportedly had tough words for vice presidential daughter Mary Cheney because she is a lesbian.
In an interview with SIRUS satellite radio, the Internet's Drudge Report said Wednesday, Keyes called Mary Cheney "a 'selfish hedonist' because she is a lesbian."
Keyes said: "The essence of ... family life remains procreation. If we embrace homosexuality as a proper basis for marriage, we are saying that it's possible to have a marriage state that in principal excludes procreation and is based simply on the premise of selfish hedonism."
Asked whether that meant Mary Cheney "is a selfish hedonist," Keyes said: "That goes by definition. Of course she is."

Sorry, NickB, you miss the correlation.
Bush, Laura, Cheney, and Lynne have not made personal attacks on Kerry and his family and Edwards' and his family like the Kerry's and Edwards' have made vicious and very personal attacks on the President and Vice President's families, and no one can dispute that as the facts are the facts and have been publicized for weeks. Lynne's one comment about Kerry not being a good man was a reaction from a mother defending her daughter, and very well justified, IMHO.
And now there are looneys on the left calling for Bush's assassination. The rabid left is out of control, driven to lunacy and irrationality by hatred for Bush. And that cannot be disputed.
The last time I checked, Keyes was not running for the presidency and his remarks about Mary Cheney were inappropriate and were called so at the time.

Excerpts of the screed published by the UK's "Guardian" on Saturday, 23 Oct:
*************
"Throughout the debate, John Kerry, for his part, looks and sounds a bit like a haunted tree. But at least he's not a lying, sniggering, drink-driving, selfish, reckless, ignorant, dangerous, backward, drooling, twitching, blinking, mouse-faced little cheat. And besides, in a fight between a tree and a bush, I know who I'd favour.
"On November 2, the entire civilised world will be praying, praying Bush loses. And Sod's law dictates he'll probably win, thereby disproving the existence of God once and for all. The world will endure four more years of idiocy, arrogance and unwarranted bloodshed, with no benevolent deity to watch over and save us. John Wilkes Booth, Lee Harvey Oswald, John Hinckley Jr - where are you now that we need you?"
*************
