Email from a Soldier Abroad: "A Man in Afghanistan"
“Mr. Bennett, Please do not say my name on your radio show, if you decide to read any part of my e-mail. I am stationed in a remote part of Afghanistan. Fortunately, I have found a way to stream in your show via the Internet. The news and information flow can be very slow here, however your show allows me to stay informed and up to date on the important issues of the day. I would willingly remain in Afghanistan for an unlimited time to ensure that my family and the families all the listeners would not be subject to another attack like the one on 9/11. I have not seen my beautiful wife and gorgeous daughters for seven months, and our tour ends here in approximately 5 more months. I look forward to seeing them very soon. In about two weeks all the Soldiers in Afghanistan, Iraq, and the rest of the Military, will know if we will continue to be supported by a great man, or possibly prepare to be under the control of the United Nations. Will you let the listeners know that we (the Soldiers) need them to vote, we will not let America down, so please do not let us down by failing to vote. Also, as a leader, I know that you do not operate a one-man-show so, I want to thank Seth and Jeff for the hard work they do too. I appreciate your opinions and respect your views A Man in Afghanistan.”

I won't let him down.
I read these letters and blogs and pray that enough people in this country read them to make a difference.

We should make this a part of the Pledge of Alligience. "Never again will we let our Men and Women in Uniform down". |
