The Newsmax article is encouraging, but I agree on not becoming complacent. The Democrats are bitter over what they perceive to be the "stolen" 2000 election. I would be surprised at nothing they might pull this time.

The one poll that has never been wrong is the Weekly Reader poll and they show Bush 65 to Kerry`s 35. I smell a landslide.

The polls worry me. I was listening to Washington Journal on C-Span and they received a caller on the Kerry line. He said he has been inundated with calls from people polling him. He said he always tells them he is voting for Bush even though he is not.

I wonder if this is another DNC ploy to make the Republicans complacent? Let's make sure we all go out and vote and encourage our friends and family to do the same!!!

Flip side:

I live in Florida, have a listed phone number, am registered to vote, and have n't been polled even once.

Are the polls polling the same people from the same tired old lists over and over again?

Likewise here in Oregon a so called BG state - and I am registered as a independent - one would think I would be a target for pollsters

But maybe because I live in a college town full of bleeding heart liberals they may think I am one also and already made up my mind - well thwy are right - I have and it has been cast already for Bush

The odds that someone has been called more than once by a pollster are extremely remote. I smell a 'Rat!

Also, its long been said that many people are influenced by polls in that they vote with the likely winner, so any Kerry support that tells a pollster they are voting for Bush is hurting Kerry.
