This is a joke and an abomination. This is the guy who states that we shouldnt have gone into Iraq and that Iraq had no WMDs. Now, he's using a spurious news story based on NY Times and CBS garbage to say that Bush did not secure the dangerous weapons, when the main reason he didnt secure them was that we didnt act sooner.

Bush should come back hard. This is disgusting. If Kerry had his way all hthose stockpiles would still be with madmen and terrorists.

On Fox last night they reported that even if
there were 380 tons of explosives missing, it's a
miniscule amount relative to 400,000 tons we'd
already destroyed. In other words, the "missing"
is less than .1% of the total thus far--
not a significant amount--look for this to backfire
on the Dems (yet again) Wink

The main point here is that our military never had the opportunity to secure these explosive components because they were already gone by the time they got there.

Saddam had the HMX and RDX removed before the war started. He knew exactly when the deadline would pass.

The soldiers from the 101st did not observe any HMX or RDX compounds at the site and there were no bunkers still under UN seal.

You can't secure something that isn't there.

Doesn't the bible saying something about the kind of person who digs a pit to try to lay a trap for someone else always falls into their own trap?

Oh yeah....here it is.

Psalm 7
14 He who is pregnant with evil
and conceives trouble gives birth to disillusionment.
15 He who digs a hole and scoops it out
falls into the pit he has made.
16 The trouble he causes recoils on himself;
his violence comes down on his own head.

Do you think God ever met John Kerry? Wink

Sounds like we have a multi-level defense, for example:

1. My dog didn't bite you. (deny the harm)
2. Your dogbite injury isn't serious. (deny the significance)
3. My dog has never bitten anyone. (deny the history)
4. I don't own a dog! (deny the predicate) Very Happy

That’s called Plausible Deniability Very Happy

Let me get this straight - Lurch is saying these weapons are sooooooooooooo dangerous that we should have secured them better - yet they were NOT too dangerous to leave in the hands of a madman like Saddam Hussein??? NOW I get it - LURCH IS NUTS! Confused

Every time I hear Kerry talk, I get sick. (Like when Hillary or Bill talks.)

It's amazing how little class this man and his campaign have and how desperate they are. They react on negative headlines to promote their cause without giving more time for investigating and disputes.

Unfortunately, many Americans believe the first thing that is thrown in their faces. Especially the undecided voters. And Kerry knows this.

Yeah, and the cBS story took around 7 days before it imploded in the MSM itself...that's right about election time...wow, this was some sort of risk they all took...that prediction I read on Little Green Footballs re: the MSM leaving themselves littered all over the battlefield is just coming more and more true...this is astounding and pathetic at once. They have no credibility, no professional pride, no honor, not even personal honor left...they've left it all out there...they are truly despicable...

Pray to God that Bush wins despite the dirty tricksters...

Does anyone know what the leftist bloggers are saying?

This is a gamble they are taking, and much like John Kerry wants the world and the U.S. to return to the status quo (nuisance terrorists), they are hedging that the American voter can be duped like in the past.

I think it is a bad gamble (but good for Bush).

Every last word that spews forth from the mouth of Kerry is demoralizing, negative, and laden with the worst kind of pessimism. His loquatious tongue lashings of our troops is almost more than I can bear. His rants highlight his parsimonious attitude towards praising the brave that do our country's bidding even as I type this.

Kerry is not honor bound, he embodies the antithesis of honor.

He should lay down his bloody sword, he's done quite enough to cut his own countrymen down, the bastard.

This discussion of weapons brought a Bible verse to my mind. Isaiah
54:17 says, "No weapon formed against you shall succeed..." I think
of all the weapons that have been formed against GWB in the past
year: Michael Moore's propaganda film, MoveOn.org, George Soros,
the Hollywood left, anti-Bush books (many prominently featured on
60 Minutes), Rathergate, and the most recent smear tactic of this
false story about the missing weapons that is being perpetuated by
the Kerry campaign. It is really amazing that all of the lies being told
about Bush have not resulted in completely knocking him out of the
race instead of poised for a tremendous victory. Of course, the
Swifties deserve a lot of credit for the position that Bush is in right
now, but something must be said for the character of the man who
could withstand such a barage of negative publicity and all the cruel
things that have been said about him during this campaign. Only
someone who is comfortable in his own skin and sustained by a
strong faith in God could persevere under these circumstances.

Amen.

That was an excellent post, Susan.

Let them run the ad. The complicity of the DNC, UN, CBS and NYT (like Rathergate) will put a nail in the FEC and FCC investigations we can get if we can severly beat these bums on Tuesday.
