Kerry's Senate Foreign Relations Committe testimony,Page 188 in the Congressional Record text:

This was on April 22, 1971.
The audio version makes clear that "trips" is indeed plural.
It has also been established that Kerry made a "so-called second trip" to Paris later in the summer of 1971. This from FBI files and Gerald Nicosia's research as published and/or reported earlier this year.
So if Kerry referred to more than one trip to Paris before his Senate testimony, and we know he made a trip to Paris after the Senate testimony, then there were at least three trips.
And this does not refer to Kerry's additional trip planned with Al Hubbard which Hubbard eventually made alone.

I pondered the same thing about that quote...
Could be though, that taken literally, visits IN Paris, he could have meant more than one meeting , on one trip
I've wondered if he went to Hanoi, like some of the others did.....
