How 'bout:
"All the views that're full of $#!t"
The NYTimes has stuck their necks out, as has cBS, aBC, cNN (we've known about them for a long time). They're going to be chopped off and made irrelevent to half or more of this country...they've taken a profession and eviscerated it...in a couple of months..this is a worse implosion than Arthur Andersen and Enron, IMHO...how utterly contemptuous and scandalous...it reeks to high heaven and reminds me of Teddy Roosevelt's comments about the press of his day reporting on the Spanish American war items that they were "full of half truths and yellow journalism." Well Teddy, I long for your days because what we've got now are NO truths and NO journalism...I soooooooo hope this backfires on them bigtime! |

I just sent this to the NYT, I've been in meetings all day and my wife filled me in on my return home. Sent below to NYT.
Quote: | You and CBS are the most corrupt organizations I've seen since the Gotti
Trials. I can only hope that the Justice Dept finds a means to put your
editors away using the RICO Act. The sooner, the better! The Times are pigs and CBS are dirt-eating pigs. |
I keep waiting for the Oct Surprise and this tripe pops up. At least the DUI story was true.

My email:
Your paper is an absolute disgrace. I sincerely hope that you get your act together and start reporting news and not Kerry campaign lies. Your piece on the missing explosives is disgusting and you are directly responsible for the division of this nation during a war. _________________ The war against terrorism is not that Americans might die rather that we would alter our way of living. If we get to a point where we choose not to go out because of fear, our economy will sink and in the end so will our nation. Vote Bush. |

We need to also start to e-mail all the adivitisers in the paper.
Sending to the paper will just go in the trash. They are a 527 for Kerry.
But if the people advising in the paper start getting e-mail about the paper. The paper will hear about it.
May not do much but its a start. |

Good points - it may take a while but that is the most effective action against the Times. Slowly but surely they'll be forced to "clean house" and at least somewhat change their ways...but it will have to be a sustained effort - someone Prince Lazar I think, suggested that this group and others take up that cause after the election...sounds like a good plan...let's roll... |

I'll just keep this real simple :
"How can the NYT and CBS report ANYTHING they know to be false and not retract it immediately ? "
This is not just "election nonsense"....they are knowingly reporting lies and no one holds them accountable. |

Someone else mentioned what were those high-explosives doing there? The NYT and JK state that these conventional explosives were used to trigger a nuclear explosion. So why would you need these explosives if you did not have WMD's that you were making or going to make later on? That's like buying specialized equipment for the fun of it? |

Easy answer. You're giving them credit for being a newspaper with "normal" rules of conduct. What has changed is that the NYT (along with the LAT, Boston Globe, and WaPo) have crossed the line to being propaganda arms of the Kerry campaign (with CBS, ABC, NBC, CNN, AP, and Reuters)
As such there's no way they are going to retract that story when Kerry has made a campaign ad featuring the information which will run for the remainder of this week. And if anyone even tries to convince me that the NYT and the Kerry campaign haven't coordinated all this I'll tell them they're blowing smoke out their a**.
So I think confronting them on truth or bias, etc., will not work. They left those ideals behind some weeks ago. The end justifies the end, and the objective is a victory for the leftist liberal agenda (not even a victory for Kerry; he's just along for the ride). |

It is time for a lawsuit to the Supreme Court that will force a limit on the freedom of the press. Much as freedom of speech is limited to avoid slander and yelling 'fire' in a crowded theatre... the freedom of the press must be limited to avoid electioneering and other skewing behaviors.
The other grass roots, free market approach would be for the conservatives to start buying shares in the media companies and start leveraging the decisions being made..... |

My son said that there was a screw up with their absentee ballots over there getting in on time. My son is coming home on leave, hopefully by this weekend . We haven't seen him since January. He's hoping to be home on time to vote locally. I hope that there won't be a problem with that. I'll let you know |

The NYTimes are still laboring under the "we don't know for sure, so let's report it anyway" umbrella. You know, it's the "seriousness of the charge, not it's substance" rule of liberal journalism/politics (is there a difference?).
I still think the big story is not getting full measure of attention: the reporting of a story that is at least 16 months old in the final week of an election, with an admitted attempt to put it out ONE DAY (Oct. 31) before Election Day by SeeBS on 60 Minutes!!
The fact that the charges are being made by an official of the UN, ElBaredei, or better, "Libya has WHAT?!?!?!" ElBaredei, in a letter dated October 10. What was the point of that? Well, some say it is because the US is trying to oust his ineffectual butt as head of the IAEA, given it's gross failures under his leadership (A.Q. Khan, North Korea, Iran, Libya etc.), and he is trying to get a more "accomodating" administration (UN rumpswabs like Kerry) into office so he can keep his job.
One has to ask: why didn't the UN destroy the cache of expolsives rather than putting a feeble seal on the cache and leaving it there? The last they saw of it was March 10, 2003, so what do they know about how it was moved/stolen/disposed/sold?
The fact that the UN, with the tacit approval of Kerry, is trying to influence our elections should be of grave concern to every American, because that band of dictators and socialists do not have the best interests of the U.S. in mind.
And I include Kerry in the group. _________________ Everytime he had a choice, Kerry chose to side with communists rather than the United States. |

Rendell, Governor of Pennsylvania, is a leftwing ******* from the time he was Philadelphia District Attorney.
I think a pre-emptive military demonstration in Harrisburg would be appropriate. Focusing on the anti-military, anti-American stance of Rendell on the military voting issue.
