IS THIS THE MAN YOU THINK WILL KEEP YOU SAFE?...
Right question, wrong guy, Babs.....
1. BUSH IGNORED THE ADVICE OF THE CLINTON ADMINISTRATION REGARDING THE URGENT THREAT OF AL QAEDA.
The Clinton administration, with the aid of John Kerry, ignored the "urgent threat of Al Qaeda for eight years, allowing them to grow in strength and number.
2. BUSH IGNORED THE HART-RUDMAN COMMISSION TERRORISM REPORT, WHICH OUTLINED A RANGE OF U.S. SECURITY REQUIREMENTS AND STRATEGIC OBJECTIVES.
Kerry ignored the Duelfer report and the 9/11 Commission report, at least the "inconvenient parts"
3. BUSH FAILED TO GET OVER 100,000 HOURS OF VALUABLE TERRORISM-RELATED TAPINGS TRANSLATED BY LINGUISTS AT THE F.B.I, A FULL 3 YEARS AFTER 9/11. IN FACT, JOHN ASHCROFT REFUSED TO ENDORSE FBI REQUESTS FOR $58 MILLION FOR NEW COUNTERTERRORISM FIELD AGENTS, TRANSLATORS AND INTELLIGENCE ANALYSTS.
Clinton failed to have those linguists in place as well. Judging by the number of Arab linguist turncoats at Gitmo, they have to select them rather carefully.
4. BUSH HELD NO FACE TO FACE MEETINGS WITH HIS TERRORISM CHIEF RICHARD CLARK AND NEITHER DID DICK CHENEY WHO WAS HEAD OF THE TERRORISM TASK FORCE.
So did Bill Clinton, maybe because Clarke was so fatally wrong on so many points, and Clarke's opinion changed dramatically when a Republican president came to office, i.e., he was all for preemptive intervention when Clinton wanted to bomb a chemical factory in Sudan.....
5. BUSH CONTINUED HIS VACATION ON THE DAY HE RECEIVED A BRIEFING ABOUT THE IMPENDING ATTACK ON AMERICA.
Kerry has missed nearly 78% of the public meetings of the Senate Intelligence Committee and refuses to release his attendance records for the closed door meetings. He missed all the meetings immediately after the first WTC bombing. He has taken a vacation from his Senate job, missing very important votes, for the past year since he began running. The record shows that he got meetings terminated early so he could go home for dinner.
6. KNOWING ABOUT THE IMPENDING HIJACKINGS, BUSH DID NOTHING TO BEEF UP AIRLINE SECURITY.
Al Gore was head of the 1996 Gore Commission on Airline Safety, which could have prevented 9/11. Kerry was informed of security laxness at Logan Airport in Boston (from which most of the hijackers left on 9/11/01) in May of that year, and ignored the warning.
7. BUSH'S ATTORNEY GENERAL, JOHN ASHCROFT, TOLD THE ACTING DIRECTOR OF THE F.B.I. TO NOT TELL HIM ANYTHING MORE ABOUT TERRORISM.
What does this mean? Proof would be nice.
8. BUSH WAS INACTIVE AND INDECISIVE FOR A FULL 7 MINUTES THE MORNING OF 9/11 WHEN INFORMED OF THE ATTACK ON THE WORLD TRADE CENTER.
Kerry admitted that he was dumbfounded and "could not think" for FORTY MINUTES!! (the second plane hit the World Trade Center at 9:03 a.m., and the plane hit the Pentagon at 9:43 a.m. Do the math or get someone to help you, Babs)
9. BUSH INVADED IRAQ WITH THE RATIONALE OF IMAGINARY WEAPONS OF MASS DESTRUCTION AND IGNORED THE REAL THREAT IN AFGHANNISTAN. NOW WE HAVE A TERRORIST BREEDING GROUND IN THE MIDDLE EAST AND OSAMA BIN LADEN AND ABU MUSSAB AL-ZARQAWI, A RADICAL ISLAMIC TERRORIST, RUNNING FREE.
At the same time, with the exact same information, Kerry came to the exact same conclusions as the President: invade Iraq. Now, with the advantage of hindsight (the only view you get when your head is up your ass), the claims we should not have gone. Well, hindsight in 2003 said Hussein had WMDs. Bush had to act on a worst case scenario basis. End of story.
10. BUSH IGNORED THE ADVICE OF THE GENERALS IN THE MILITARY WHO PROVED TO BE RIGHT.
Who? Tommy Franks? LOL! The "fired" Shinseki? Nobody is "proved right" until the war is over. And don't forget, according to General von Clausewitz, "no battle plan survives first contact with the enemy." Words to live by.
11. BUSH OPPOSED THE CREATION OF A DEPARTMENT OF HOMELAND SECURITY.
And Bush is the first one to create one. Maybe he used some Texas "nuance!" Resisting the growth of goverment is not necessarily a bad thing, except to social parasites like Babs. And how many terrorist attacks would Clinton have needed to start one? His adminstration actually increased the height of the communication barrier between intelligence agencies (see Jamie Gorelick).
12. BUSH OPPOSED THE CREATION OF THE 9/11 COMMISSION.
Because it would become the political distraction and sideshow that it turned out to be. What did we learn? Nothing, except that one of the commissioners, Gorelick (apt, no?) created the wall between intelligence agencies that directly contributed to the 9/11 murders. The 9/11 also absolved Bush of ALL responsibility for 9/11.
13. MORE THAN 3 YEARS LATER, OUR BORDERS, PORTS, AND NUCLEAR POWER PLANTS ARE STILL NOT SECURE.
Let me know when you want to start building a wall, Babs! And stop buying foreign goods. Idiot! The ports are clearly being monitored, and they aren't going to tell a blabbermouth like you about it. A terrorist lulled by your idiocy and the belief that the ports are unguarded will make simple and obvious mistakes that help us capture them. Hear of any port bombs lately?
14. BUSH SUPPRESSED THE RELEASE OF A CIA REPORT THAT LAYS BLAME UPON HIGH-LEVEL PEOPLE IN HIS ADMINISTRATION FOR NOT DOING THEIR JOBS IN A SATISFACTORY MANNER BEFORE 9/11.
Have you seen the report, or are you simply going on the biased reports of liberal flunky Robert Scheer? When you see it, let us know.
15. BUSH FAILED TO SECURE NEARLY 400 TONS OF KNOWN, DEADLY EXPLOSIVES IN IRAQ, AND NOW THEY MAY FALL INTO THE WRONG HANDS TO BE USED TO BLOW UP AIRPLANES, LEVEL BUILDINGS AND DETONATE NUCLEAR WEAPONS.
Funny, it cannot even be established that the explosives were there, yet it is Bush's fault? What about the vaunted IAEA, that simply left them there instead of destroying them? Maybe they are with the rest of the WMDs that you have been saying were never there! Hussein could fill a bunch of trucks pretty quickly if he wanted to, and the seven weeks or so between the last time the UN saw them, and the time the US got there is more than enough. And why is a 16 month old story only coming out NOW???
From ABCNEWS.COM:
"The nuclear agency pulled out of Iraq in 1998, and by the time it returned in 2002, it confirmed that 35 tons of HMX that had been placed under IAEA seal were missing. HMX and RDX are the key components in plastic explosives, which insurgents have widely used in a series of bloody car bombings in Iraq."
(what is wrong with that timeline?) "ElBaradei told the United Nations in February 2003 that Iraq had declared that "HMX previously under IAEA seal had been transferred for use in the production of industrial explosives, primarily to cement plants as a booster for explosives used in quarrying."
Can you say "UN Dumbasses?" So they believed Hussein was going to "quarry" with these high explosives? And they have the gall to complain about the President?
Stick to sitting by the pool in Malibu, and getting older, uglier and more frustrated and ignorant. That's what high school dropouts like you do, Babs. Save the analysis for those who can read. _________________ Everytime he had a choice, Kerry chose to side with communists rather than the United States. |

These people hate the military so much they are clueless that they are insulting all the boots on the ground in Iraq when they attempt to throw this insult at President Bush....
FACE IT FOLKS -- HOLLYWOOD HATES THE MILITARY -- no doubt they are jealous of the fine character and bravery of our soldiers -- something they all lack. |

Why even bother with Streisand. Everyone knows she's so liberal she makes communists look conservative by comparison.
What ever she says is trash.
Even her singing sucks. |

I just went to her site. It's absolutely hysterical! (get it?)
How can one person pack so much dumb in one little brain? Here's a gem from babs:
Quote: | Where is our Free Press?
...Barbra Streisand

If you cross this administration, you pay a price. If you open your mouth and tell the truth like former White House Economic Advisor Lawrence Lindsay did when he told the Administration that the Iraqi war was going to cost between $100-$200 billion dollars, you get fired. If you disagree with the President, like Treasury Secretary Paul O'Neill did one too many times regarding the President's policy on tax cuts, you get canned. If you claim that the Administration is misrepresenting the facts and misleading the public, like Former Ambassador Joseph Wilson did, your wife's career gets ruined when she gets outed as a CIA operative in the national media. If you tell the administration that several thousand more servicemen and women are needed in Iraq, like General Shinseki did, you get publicly scolded as being incorrect. And, if you choose to air a story about George Bush's military service, or lack thereof, like CBS did last week, you and your award winning news anchor, get investigated by the FCC.
So it's no wonder that the press has taken a backseat to reporting the misdeeds of this administration. It's not surprising that the press failed to ask the hard questions leading up to the war in Iraq, when a more informed public still had time to speak up. Never mind that CBS's story included substantive and uncontested evidence that Bush didn't show up for duty when he was supposed to, that he skipped a required physical that grounded him from flying, and that he mysteriously received an honorable discharge. Yes...the documents CBS presented could not be confirmed for their authenticity, but these details of Bush's military record have been out for public consumption for years. Why is the media not discussing the facts behind the story instead of just focusing on CBS? For example, Killian's secretary said those memos accurately reflected the Colonel's feelings. Ben Barnes, former lieutenant governor of Texas, admitted that he pulled strings to get Bush into the National Air Guard. And Robert Mintz, retired National Guardsman who served in Bush's unit in 1972, doesn't remember seeing him there. And in contrast to Senator John Kerry, who said "send me" when given the option to go to Vietnam, according to the LA Times, when asked the same question, Bush checked the box stating "do not volunteer for overseas." The media's attention is diverted from the real story because we now live in a time where the fear of revenge by this administration sends a chill through the corporations that control our media and overwhelms the press' responsibility to investigate, educate and hold our leaders accountable. |
I love that. Did you catch the part where she says Bush is the one that "mysteriously received an honorable discharge"? Ha Ha. This is a funny girl.
I have a theory about liberals. You remember the TV show All in the Family. Archie Bunker is the liberals' fictional representative of conservatism. He is a backward bigot filled with preconceived notions that bear little resemblance to reality. My theory is that Archie Bunker was really a projection of the liberals own personality. That's why they loved him so much. The liberals are the backward bigots filled with preconcieved notions that bear little resemblence to reality. You can't tell them anything.
Babs is the quintessential Liberal Archie Bunker _________________ "It is not a smear, if you please, if you point out the record of your opponent."

Memories
With my head up my behind
Misty chemical weapon memories
of Saddam gassing Kurds
Scattered pictures
of the bodies left behind
Bodies found in the mass grave sites
from his gassing Kurds
Can it be that it was all so simple then?
or has Kerry rewritten every line?
If Saddam had the chance to do it all again
Tell me would he.... could he?
Memories
Can be bothersome and yet
With Bush up for re-election
I simply choose to forget.
So it's the Poodle
I will remember
Sadam can go dismember
the remaining Kurds...... _________________ USN 78-84 STS1(SS) USS George C. Marshall SSBN 654(G)

Remember the time she posted her comments without review or spell checking?
It looked like a ransom note from a second grader!
R. Lee Ermey, who made his name as the fearsome drill sergeant in the film Full Metal Jacket, told The Telegraph that Streisand's views were far from representative of Hollywood as a whole.
"Once again, Barbra Streisand has opened her alligator-sized mouth wide before her humming-bird brain has had a chance to catch up," said Ermey.… _________________ Everytime he had a choice, Kerry chose to side with communists rather than the United States. |

She's proof that all the money in the world can't buy class or brains. It can buy friends, though. Good thing she has money.

The site is probably good for a laugh just like any other liberal blog site. At first, you're amazed at the arrogance of the ignorant, then you realize, that they're intellectually and logically challanged and feel sorry for them. Like a bully in the schoolyard who has no self esteem but acts like a bigshot. Or worse, like the followers of the bully who are beholden to him out of fear or debt of some kind. |

When I went to her site I was hoping it would be possible to e-mail her. I wanted to tell her that I thought she is a Liberal Archie Bunker. I'm a firm believer in laughing the fools off the worlds stage. Unfortunately she doesn't allow laughing in her little theater. No way to e-mail her. _________________ "It is not a smear, if you please, if you point out the record of your opponent."
