All records, huh? Heck, not even all the records that were up are up now. Ain't true, Sparky. It's not all. _________________ De Oppresso Liber |

Sorry, but it is true. Bush and Kerry released their medical records in the same way by permitting the press to inspect them.
A comparison can be made of what's been released here:
http://www.awolbush.com/kerry-vs-bush.asp
Since nobody can say what, exactly, is missing from Kerry's records it's obvious nothing is missing.
Bush should release all his records. We need to know why they forbid him from flying! |

Actually, all that is obvious is that you don't know much about military records. Where is his training record? Where is his qualification information? Where is his 2-1 (or whatever the Navy calls it)? Where is his "sign-off" as having been briefed on the Law of Land Warfare? Where are his training reports? _________________ De Oppresso Liber |

He missed a Flight Physical.
In the military, pilots and some other NEC/MOS's (aircrewmen, air traffic controllers) have to have annual physicals by a flight surgeon.
You're grounded or relieved from your duty status if you miss one. _________________ ~ Echo Juliet ~

He missed more than one. And this was precisely when they began testing for drug use. Like cocaine, which he would neither confirm nor deny he'd used before the age of 28. He did deny using using drugs after the age of 28.
And we're not completely sure that this is why he was grounded because he won't release all his records like Kerry did. |

Where are some of the pages that were there shortly after the big announcement that all his records were up on his web site....
And aren't there, now.
I know there were some activity reports up at first which were actually those of another skipper. (He throws away his ribbons or medals, but he keeps someone else's activity reports - go figure. ) _________________ ~ Echo Juliet ~

Clerical error. The person transcribing those documents into pdf's just automatically converted them without reviewing what the Navy had sent. Simple error and they removed those documents not pertaining to Kerry.
No conspiracy. It's not like the Kerry campaign is oblivious to the fact that BushCorp Inc and his minions were going to scrutinize the material. |

You want to imply that it was the fear of routine urinalysis that kept him away from the flight physical, but that's just silly.
If it was a fear of something coming up on urinalysis, all he had to do was avoid whatever substance you're implying that he was taking for 3-5 days, depending on what it was. The tests back then were NOT very sensitive and really nothing to be feared back then.
Furthermore, the tests were not in widespread use until about 1980, when more effective and much cheaper tests became available and the DOD began the zero tolerance policy which included random screenings.
And your repeated insistence that Kerry's public records are complete doesn't make it so. _________________ ~ Echo Juliet ~

Clerical error.
Amazing. The military allows clerical errors? Something as important as someone's military record is allowed to have errors?
Might the same type of clerical errors which allowed the INCLUSION of someone else's reports also allow for the OMISSION of some of his other material?

What the Navy had sent. Hm.
Seems to me that the President handed out redacted copies of "what the records center had sent."
That isn't good enough explanation for some of you.
Why should we let it be a good enough explanation for us, in Kerry's case? _________________ ~ Echo Juliet ~

It seems more likely that the Kerry campaigns transcribers just typed what was in the stack.
And the document that was off by a few months WAS in that stack.
And while an irregularity, it wasn't like it had any bearing on anything. Of course, knowing fully well from the get-go that their records were going to be examined under the rightwing microscope, they removed those few pages right when they were brought to their attention.
Of course there HAS to be a conspiracy in there somewhere. |
