He was thanking Bon Jovi for playing a couple of songs for him at a rally... sorry, no links, just heard it on the AFR..

OK, you got me. I keep flashing to this really wierd Japanese anime
series - FLCL - or Fooly Cooly. I keep seeing Kerry as Haruko doing
a wild ride on a Vespa scooter swinging a Rickenback bass guitar.

About 90% of the people read that EVERYWHERE 20 hours a day!! Always some creep or woman standing behind me on the train with the anime book hitting me in the back of the head...

homicidal maniacs. Kinda like the Democratic party if you leave out
the cute and sexy.

Guess after seeing it everywhere for at least 12 hours a day everyday for 7 years kinda got to me after awhile 
It seemed ok when I was in the states.. but these sheeple are OBSESSED with it... They would have a MAJOR panic if the MaNGA dissapeared...
I just realized to you mentioned anime and not manga... my bad 
well.... It almost goes the same for the anime, but not quite as bad 
Guess you just have to be here to see what I mean.. BTW, there is actually a GREAT (and very deep) anime that I really liked... it is called 'mononokehime'.. not sure what the English name for it is... but I think they did make an English ver... not sure though..

In 1961, he was a student at Saint Paul's prep school in New Hampshire, where he played bass guitar for a band called the Electras.
A copy of the band's album recently sold on eBay for more than $2,500.
Songs include Summertime Blues and Three Blind Mice.
One of the lyrics for Summertime Blues is somewhat ironic:
I'm gonna take 3 weeks I'm gonna have a fine vacation
I'm gonna take my problem to the United Nations
