Frankly, I think a NATIONAL DIALOGUE is LONG overdue on the global ramifications for US national commitments and the very LIVES OF OUR TROOPS that arguably seditious rhetoric (particularly in an election year) might have, especially in light of the advent of instant global exposure that we have seen in the last decade.
I would LOVE to see an in depth roundtable debate on this topic with notables from BOTH sides of the political fence...something akin to the discussion series on various legal and media issues produced by the late Fred Friendly on PBS & hosted by Arthur Miller.
Electioneering rhetoric such as Kerry's & Gore's is DANGEROUS to both our troops, our national commitments and our morale at home, and its high time we, as a society, come to some national understanding of the difference between free speech and sedition. I'm sure I could use some education in that differentiation myself. |

Al Gore once again reveals himself to be a dull-witted, mentally unbalanced moonbat unworthy of holding office as dog-catcher, much less President of the United States.
As Americans we should all get down on our knees in thanks that this sad clown wasn't permitted to steal the election in 2000. If it's up to people like Al Gore and John Kerry to defend this nation, we might as well declare Sharia law tomorrow and install Saddam Hussein as President for Life.
Of course, when was the last time the Democrats nominated a presidential candidate that even slightly deserved the office? Johnson? JFK? _________________ "Liberalism is totalitarianism with a human face." - Thomas Sowell |

Hey, I resent that remark.
