Jill ~ my eyes burn with tears each time I read of the dedicated efforts that have been put forth by so many....this is soooooo critical to our future! I haven't the words to say "Thank you" enough! Just know that my prayers are with you and Troy.
I wonder if I maight ask one small favor.....when you get a moment please give your hubby a very special hug from me (and all the other mom's and grandma's out here who'd love to be able to say thanks in one of the best ways we know how!

Mrs NC,
thank you so much for sharing your hubby. Give him a hug for me also.
If things get really hairy this weekend, just think - only a few more days.... at least until the election.
We appreciate both of you more than we can say.... and your children for being patient with him .... and probably doing without him quite a bit right now.... this to shall pass.... hopefully, we'll have a president we can be proud of and who will do his best to keep us safe... not retreat!
thanks again ! - oh yes, from one redhead to another !!!! hang in there! _________________ Stevie

Exactly why is this understandable?
The MSM seems to have no trouble attacking Bush or anyone in the administration without proof.
One of the few things I find understandable is why everybody on this site admires your husband so much, and now admire you. |

Jill, thanks for sharing Navy Chief with us. His work has given us so much truth about Kerry, and thanks for your post and giving out so much facts.

I never acted up or caused any trouble until I met "Navy Chief" here
on this "forum" , he is the cause of me "pretenting to be a U. S
Congressman" and telling a nice person in Sen. Frist office to have
the "Doc" to call your hubby, sorry I'm so easy to be lead astray,
but then it could be in the "gene pool" you never know.
Hope he does not get on my case, as there is the possiblity that he
could find out , (that I set a huge hay stack on fire just because my
older (and fatter) brother got to go to school before I did), its just
the over competive, A++++X10 , "need the adrelin," problem I have.
He on the other hand leads us "nut case workers " out and about.
Put another way, like my daughter at Sandia Lab in New Mexico
says, He's way cool. _________________ the strange mr aj |

I have noticed something that I think is worth mentioning.
The remarks made by forum members in regard to why they are here, why they fight this fight, even the vets that were so maligned by Kerry, the reason it seems that we all are digging into this fight is not for ourselves, but for our children and grandchildren.
That is so UN-liberal...where everything is me me me and I I I.
Btw....this is another redhead.......with 5 children and 6 grandchildren....what was it Rush used to call the female army.........oh yea, the Amazon Battallion.....we could be the "Redhot Amazon Batallion". |

First off thank you both VERY much for your service and support. The work of NC has been above and beound the call. Behind every great man is a great woman. As a 34 year effort draws to a close, we need to keep praying that this will surface before Tuesday. However, Nov 3rd is just another day to contiune the attack until Kerry has to answer. He sold us out once, and he would do it again. _________________ Retired 86 Army

Jill-
I'm Laurie, the other half of SWCTexas. I love my husband. He's been a wonderful provider and a fantastic father to our four children. He is a kind, decent, Christian man who believes in hard work, integrity and has a keen sense of responsibility. His favorite quote to our children..."to whom much is given...much is expected".
Over the last several weeks, I have wanted to take his Mac laptop and force him to sit on it. All I have heard is...the SwiftVets say this...Chief says that...to the point that I have been ready to move out of the house until November 3rd.
And then, I saw the commercials. The SwiftVet ads. I watched Stolen Honor. I went balistic.
Never in my life have I been more motivated not only to support the President I admire and respect, but to keep that treacherous, evil man from even knocking on the White House door, much less living in it.
At times in our country's history, neighbors stand together and become militias and even armies. They have stood firm against tyranny, terrorist and all who would bring us harm.
I am proud to stand with you and your husband and continue the fight until we win and we will win.
John Kerry will be exposed as a man with no spine, no backbone, no integrity and no character. Until that day, this Mom will be by your side.
And on a personal note, if you and Chief are in the Houston area, please contact us. My husband thinks Chief is one of America's unsung heroes. I believe he is correct.
Meeting Chief has been added to his list of top 5 things to do before he dies.
Thanks to you all and God Bless!

Excuse me but I believe that's five. But who's counting (CINC-House, hanna, stevie, rosierita, dmackto). Man, er, woman, I mean person, no, I mean, Amazon, aw shucks, anyway I'm glad I'm on the right side. I'd really fear the sight of the Amazon Batallion hollerin' and puffin' and gallopin' this way, and workin' for the wrong side. _________________ '58 Airedale HMR(L)-261 VMO-2 |
