Heres the real story
http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,137017,00.html
Major Austin ?? of the US Army just underwent a blistering press conference from the media where he discussed how he personally led the effort to destroy the 250 or 350 tons of explosives at Al Kaka (?). Rush also brought out that the UN's Hans Blix ordered the stuff destroyed in 1995 and that never got executed. (Going from memory so be lenient).
So our other "Deadly Shipmate" either has to tuck his tail between his legs and back off the incompetance charges against the President, or he has to attack Major Austin like he did us in '71. Anybody got an anchorpool going? _________________ The Supercarrier.

Rush was all over this today. Maybe Hannity will cover it tonight? Kerry will not admit the story was wrong. He got the mileage out of it he wanted. Thing about Kerry is truth does not matter to him. He will say and do anything to win, truth be dammed.

CBS tried once again to interject liberal partisan bias into the campaign with the phoney ammo dump story -- the missing 380 tons, or 3 tons. That was scheduled for 60 Minutes.
Dan Rather should be placed on administrative leave pending the outcome of the investigation of his and Mary Mapes rigged reportage on the Bush national guard story, the Rathergate scandal.
You can protest CBS' patent and continuing bias by calling 212-975-6200.
We need to fight to end MSM bias! We need to hit them again and again. _________________ Ted Harwood, Ph.D.

Transcript from Rush's site:
BROKAW says: "You know, somebody has analyzed the president's military aptitude tests and yours, examine they've concluded that President Bush has a higher IQ than you do, senator."
KERRY: That's great. More power. I don't know how they've done it because my record isn't out in the public, so... But I don't know where you're getting that from.
RUSH: Oh, really? Your record isn't public, senator? I thought you had made your military records all public. I thought they were all on your website, senator. Now you admit that your records aren't public?
See, this bothers him.
Brokaw says that military analysts have concluded Bush has a higher IQ than Kerry. So Kerry, he can't handle this. So he screws up by saying, "I don't know. My records haven't been released."
Yeah, senator, and why not? Is it because there's a questionable passage there on your discharge, senator? Is that why you won't sign Form 180 to release all your records? Is there some question about your honorable discharge, senator? Hmm?
(Rush then links to NY Sun Lipscomb discharge story and Michelle Malkin's blog on Kerry's discharge) _________________ ~ Echo Juliet ~

Mike McCurry, the Kerry spokesturd, has already been quoted as saying that the statements already made by Kerry & Kompany "have had the effect" that was intended.
Note that references to the weapons have been removed from the sKerry website, and they are no longer being mentioned in speeches.
Their lust for power is shameless. It should be well known by now that Kerry & Ko. WILL say anything & everything in order to gain power. Truth isn't an issue for them. It's "whatever it takes". |

Did everyone notice how Kerry and the MSM hardly mentioned and practically dismissed Major Austin Pearson`s press conference? They have no respect for the American soldier. |

The only reporters I have seen recently that respect the military are the ones that were embedded on the run from Kuwait to Baghdad. This is because they saw for the first time what heroes are made of and perhaps realized that those carping, criticizing and belittling from the safety of their news rooms in New York were at best one step removed from being a coward.

What an excellent point!
I tried to think of the ones I saw that later turned on the military.
Can't think of any |

How quickly we forget....
Remember Geraldo Rivera drawing the Ops Plan for the 101st assault in the sand on live TV?
Of course, he wasn't an OFFICIAL embed, he was a hanger-on. Who got himself disinvited from the AO, and escorted to the Kuwait border with instructions NOT to try to come back into Iraq. _________________ USMC 69-72, 7th Comm, 3rd MarDiv, FMFPAC
