How about a microphone, speakers? Way to communicate with people?
Do we need "ushers", people to direct, guide, give out information?
Anyone have a set of radios available for organizers to use?
How would "VIP's", SwiftVets, etc. get there? _________________ MJB

Color is nice but we're working with too many unknowns.
We have to focus on getting people there hopefully WITH CLOTHES ON and it's such short notice a coordinated effort might be difficult for all.
again, ANYONE WITH A BLOG THAT WE CAN USE FOR GENERAL INFO? _________________ PROUD wife of Army ASA Vet - 66-70

Thanks for clarifying - some of us former officer types are easily confused. Always needed a good NCO around to keep my a** out of the grass! _________________ MJB

Admin note:
To the forum:
Any further mention within this thread either encouraging or promoting extra-legal activity will be deleted and may result in the locking of this topic.
I am aware of the possibility that a permit for this activity may not be obtainable. I would strongly urge that any further discussion of this proposed event be framed in language assuming the issuance of all required legal permits.
Thanks in advance for your cooperation

Ahhhh, I can hit this one, no ticket required and I have to run to the north end of the county in AM, can hit this on the way south. Might not have a ride to get away, but to heck with it, it is Saturday and I can find a bus. Darn it, if you guys don't have something done on a press release, I'll take Chief's first post on this thread and add date and time to it.
IMO, document release should happen ~1600 EST Sunday for local distribution if you want to go that way. |
if you're gonna make it there, get ahold of Hannity - make a sign to hold up or something - say 'need to talk - kerry discharge a go' ; let him /them know.... maybe one of them can split out that day and join us... like Ollie- he'd love it .... darn, wish I were gonna be there -
I was going to try and call the church listed , but if you'll be there.... _________________ Stevie

The Naval Archives. YELLOW line. It's just a 30 minute stroll from the Capitol.

You're right -- coordinating with a color at this late date would be tough.
Just PROFESSIONALLY DRESSED for all.
But the YELLOW RIBBON on everyone is an outstanding idea!!!
(Red wouldn't be a good color, but it does signify some of my thoughts about Kerry) |

Cipher, You've been told when, where and the objective, WTF else does a NCO need from an officer?
Radios: use the cellphones, start IDing bodies and swapping numbers.
Guides: get a list of people who can handle directing crowds and mark them.
Press: simple answer "I'm here because Senator Kerry has proven by his record that he is unfit to serve as President." , point them to an expert, have experts identified (and easily identifiable).
Portapotties: Do it before you go.
Water: Ahhh, BYOB and if any of you have some kind of backpack, stash a few extra in it, there will always be those who would forget their heads if they weren't attached.
Signage: I'll go over to PW and make a mention of this. Do we go without or do we go with only the "10 out of 10 terrorists support Kerry"? |

Need to be able to record downloadable pix, audio and video. Just in case MSM ignores it, we can post and provide links. |
