Why is this guy revered?
I'm watching him on Larry King right now. He just accused Karl Rove of putting Bin Laden up to recording today tape to take the attention off of the Explosions story.
Just said Bin Laden was clean shaven...!!??????
The man is adled.
Is it true he reported falsley during the Tet Offensive???? _________________ NEED SOME WOOD? |

Are you sure? That's beyond the pale, if so I'd say either WC is demented, alzheimery, desperate or a combo thereof. |

I guess no one told him the explosive's story ended today. I don't know anybody that thinks these people are that great. They are legends in their own minds. |

Yes he distort the TET offensive. We kicked Charlie's butt. Uncle Walter made it out to be our greatest defeat. He lost the war with his mouth.
Senile old fool. |

Didn't I say earlier, "be prepared for the DNC to say that the WH had this tape and were sitting on it until this weekend?" Okay, I guess I forgot to add, "Be prepared for the DNC to say that bin Laden in the tape is really Karl Rove."
Oh, and to clarify: in my mind the DNC and Uncle Walty are pretty much the same thing.
But I didn't see Cronkite. Was he lashed into his chair with a bib? _________________ The last refuge of scoundrels is not patriotism; it is finicky liberal humanitarianism.--Martin Paretz |

Is it a fact he reported falsely" Any Vieynam marines in here that would like to answer that? He said we were losing in Vietnam yet we had not lost a battle including the Tet. Tet weakened the Viet Vong out of existance/ General Giap in his memoirs said that it was walter Crock of crap and the anti war orginizations that gave the N. the determination to stay the course. He said that after Tet they were ready to surrender. What say you marines? |

I'm way to young to remember vietnam (wasn't alive at that time ), but from what I've read on the Tet offensive, the Vietcong were virtually inhilated in the Offensive _________________ www.moorewatch.com

Larry King is a so over the top lefty, I'm sure he just nodded in agreement.
In todays world, Walter wouldn't be the "reverred figure" that he was in his time, because we would all see through his bias. |

IMO - most of the anchors on CNN are bobble-head lefties. Anything the left says, they just nod their heads and go along. Ya'd think they'd get whiplash! |

Time to fly Walter to Paris to join Yasser A. The French might find them both useful somehow. Either way, time is up for both. _________________ 8th Army Korea 68-69 |
