Local news (Sacramento, CA) last night reported Kerry is only 7 points ahead of Bush. Maybe this blue state may turn red. Arnold's support didn't hurt either. It will be very interesting on election night.

Don't get too excited. Bakersfield is a rather conservative city in the center of a lot of farm areas. The "Blue" status of California is driven by Los Angeles and San Francisco.
