I have been passing out flyers at the plaze here that I d\loaded from
several sites, notjohnkerry. com and operationstreetcorner.com
just to name a few.

200 so far and all thumbs up, no hassles at all Shocked

Anyway, I ran out Very Happy

and I came home to print out more and I thought about adding some open letters to Kerry from newspaper sites and I need to know since the articles are copyrighted, can I do it?

Also, I am adding the Special Forces Veterans who served in Vietnam statement. Help please Very Happy

If you take it in its entirity from a published source, it could be copyrighted and therefore, subject you to scrutiny. However, if you excerpt key segments and attribute the source (for a non profit application) you should be OK.

If you give credit to the source at the bottom of the flyer, you will be ok... This is a really good article to take with you

Tanya, Trickworm is technically correct I think. But I'd bet my last dollar that no one who has posted anything on this site will have a problem with your distributing their information for the purpose you've stated.

You'll have to be your own judge, but I'd not worry about it other than to provide the attribution to the author.
