I was just reading the Sunday paper in my small, Southern, military
town when I noticed a half-page, full-color ad with GWB's picture.
Thinking it was a pro-Bush ad, I began to read it. Only a sentence
or two revealed it to be anti-Bush propaganda a la Michael Moore.
In fact, some of the pictures on the ad looked similar to ones I have
seen from Farenheit 9-11. I looked to see who had sponsored the
ad and was not surprised to see the name of a prominent doctor in
town who has literally made millions in the abortion industry. The
only ads I saw from the other side were two identical half-page ads
with the names and pictures of the local and national Republican
candidates urging readers to "Vote Republican". It included no negative
references to Kerry-Edwards or any other candidate. What a contrast!

To tell the truth, I owe this doctor a debt of gratitude since it was his
practice that proved to me in the late 1970's that abortion was being
used for birth control. I used to work in the local hospital and saw
many girls who were seven and eight months pregnant having
abortions. Many were in their teens and were having their second and
third abortion. The nurses told me that two of the "salines" as they
were called had delivered babies that survived the procedure and
were later adopted. They also told me that those patients who were
required to stay overnight in the hospital had to pay for three days in
advance. Most of them left the next morning, leaving the room to be
used by another patient. This amounted to a kick-back to the hospital.
I know that the hospital no longer participates in this practice, but the
whole thing illustrates the point that, although abortion is morally wrong,
it is BIG business and very profitable for those who are involved in
performing abortions. They will vote for Kerry-Edwards in droves,
but they will later have to answer to a much higher authority for their
actions against these innocent babies.
