me too - I couldn't believe what an A** he was on the 9-11 comission. Him and that other man - can't remember his name, maybe sounded Italian. He was even worse. Why on earth were they so hell bent on finding a scapegoat! We didn't attack ourselves.

But look, we're now in an unpopular war again, where young men and women are having to make the decision, "Do I sign up? Do I volunteer?" And what kind of signals does it say when the president and the vice president, who didn't serve in the Vietnam War, don't condemn these advertisements and ask their friends, Boone Pickens and others, to take these Swift Boat ads down? What kind of message does it send? It says, "You're better off not going and fighting an unpopular war because if you want to run for public office later, it may come back and haunt you." That's a terrible message, in my view, to be sending to our young men and women right now who are trying to decide, "Should I join the Army National Guard? Should I get in the reserves? Should I join the active duty military forces?"

This is laughable, high school-level spin.

Stress brings out the true person. 9/11 and its aftermath have been quite revealing in that regard concerning our "professional" politicians, newspeople, and academics.

That's the ONE AND ONLY THING we can thank OBL for. You can't discover and treat a fever if you don't take a temperature.

The MSM can't allow our message to escape the blogosphere/talk radio. It can't even investigate. Don't you suppose they realize fully that by condemning Kerry they condemn themselves? Kerry wasn't alone in his betrayal--where would he have been without the complicity of the media in 1970 and '71? Without the complicity of the libs in the House and Senate? They're all tarred with the same brush, and they know it. It's not simply that they're guilty of the same treason; it goes farther even than that. They agree with ALL his OTHER "stands." They know that there's a living association between his anti-war stance in '71 and ALL his politics since that stance. The media can't afford to admit error in ANY of his liberal, anti-military, anti-Constitutional, anti-American policies because so doing damns them as well. There can be no crack in the wall.
