Today, I received a phone call from a man representing himself as a retired General (I believe) he said his name but I didn't catch it. It was a recorded message about how Kerry supported our troops, and why we needed to vote for him. I started screaming back into the phone, hope it was an open line! I am in New Jersey, reverse traced the phone number, Massachusetts, what a surprise.

General McPeak or Wes Clark would be my guess, as they are the only two I know of actively supporting Kerry.

Was it General Ulysses S. Grant by any chance? I hear Kerry is very popular with the dead this year.

LOL, PC. Colonel Saunders. General Weasel Cluck. General McFreek.

Oh man, I am so glad my husband is no longer active duty. I make him nervous enough posting this stuff as it is.

Oh yeah. Lika a recorded call from a general nobody is going to change your vote? A sure sign of desperation. However, I kinda like getting the recorded messages from W.

I keep getting recorded phone calls from "People for or of..." and I know immediately it is a leftist/commie front group.

While at our Republican phone bank the other day, I got a recorded phone call from the Democratic Party; I hope it cost them a dollar or two.

Laura Bush called me tonight. I told her I sure would get out and vote for George. She's such a nice, refined lady.
I don't take calls from Ter-aysah. I'm afraid she'd call me a nasty name and I'd have to tell her to shove it.

My guess it was General Giap and the troops he was referring to that Kerry supported were the North Vietnamese.
