Brokaw: Someone has analyzed the President's military aptitude tests and yours, and concluded that he has a higher IQ than you do.
Kerry: That's great. More power. I don't know how they've done it, because my record is not public. So I don't know where you're getting that from.

I've saved both pages, but it would be great if someone else did too. |

Send a message to Rush Limbaugh. He played a clip from the interview so I'm sure he has it archived. |

Save the HTML of both. Also, you can be fairly sure it lives in the WayBack machine. May want to check. It should also be in Google caches by now, too. _________________ USMC 69-72, 7th Comm, 3rd MarDiv, FMFPAC

Here's a screen capture of the original, just in case it gets "lost."

Whenever I am truly outraged I have trained myself to go blank for awhile and avoid the situation. I am done being blank.
I feel like I felt when someone stole my car while I was at a party. I just can't believe it. This blatant disregard for the truth can not go unanswered.
Anybody got a spare nuke laying around?

Just saved them both to file. Time for an e-mail campaign.
Now did they edit this comment out of a Tape shown on Air also? _________________ U.S. Army 1983-1995, 11C1P/11H2P NBTDT |

Personally, I didnt see it, but Dmackto did, and I trust her, that was the reason she posted in the first place, from seeing it on TV, and recognizing what was missing. |

I just emailed the following to Drudge:
Quote: | Subject: NBC edited transcript of Brokaw/Kerry interview(removed comment about military records not public)
NBC edited Tom Brokaw/John kerry interview transcript to remove Kerry's comment about his military records.
Original transcript:
http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/6354942/
Kerry: That's great. More power. I don't know how they've done it, because my record is not public. So I don't know where you're getting that from.
The edited transcript:
http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/6363856/
Kerry: "That's great. More power. I don't know how they've done it."
Obviously, they removed this:
"because my record is not public. So I don't know where you're getting that from."
Trying to save Kerry some controversey because he admitted that his records aren't released, counter to what he's said all year long?

I think you need to include the question from Brokaw that precedes the two different Kerry answers:
Brokaw: Someone has analyzed the President's military aptitude tests and yours, and concluded that he has a higher IQ than you do.
Without the specificity of Brokaw saying "military aptitude tests," there's no frame of reference. _________________ ~ Echo Juliet ~
