|
|
Quote: | From a reliable source on the President's head campaign staff:
Republicans - do not become overconfident. The campaign is not taking anything for granted. Make sure you vote and help elect the President to another four years any way that you can. Call the local party headquarters to volunteer.
Bush polls from inside the campaign:
Florida - Bush +9
Ohio - Bush +7
NH - Bush + 5
NM - Bush +10
Colorado - Bush +12
Wisconsin - Bush +7
Michigan - Bush +3
Iowa - Bush +5
NJ - Even
PA - Bush +1
Maine - Even
MN - Bush +2
WV - Bush +7
Hawaii - Bush +2
NV - Bush +11
GOP ground game extremely organized. Democratic 527's getting more attention because of fraudulent registrations, media hype, etc but the GOP volunteer operation is much stronger.
The numbers above is why President Bush's campaign is so confident and why John Kerry's campaign is currently in such a dissaray (he is going to MI, advertising in Hawaii and New Jersey, etc)
Republicans - keep pushing, make sure you vote no matter what state you live in (Bush only -2 in California!), and call your local Republican headquarters if you can help. |
Also...
Quote: | Guys, I've been volunteering for the President here in Tampa since Friday (working 12 hours a day), and I finish tomorrow. I've been doing some serious door-to-door all over Tampa, and gotta tell you: FLORIDA IS BUSH COUNTRY. There are quite few people with Kerry, but they are being outnumbered by Bush supporters BIG TIME. The excitement on the Republican side is incredible, and the serenity and confidence the Republican staff here is showing is amazing. We had Mel Martinez on our headquarters on Saturday afternoon, and Bush came today... I mean, the Kerry people over here seem to be desperate and hoping on a miracle.
I'm telling you guys, FLORIDA IS BUSH COUNTRY. |

Is there a biker bar where the dancers do the "victory butt dance". Never mind, my credit cards are already full.

If that's the way it goes, it's going to be a short night. With that scernio the elector college map looks like this: Bush 352, Kerry 167, 19 undecided (states polling even). |

I will wager that those polls are likely accurate, and thus it will be a Bush landslide.
California Bush only down by 2? I will have my work cut out for me on tuesday. I mailed in my absentee ballot last thursday but forgot to sign the envelope. I called the elections office and they said I would have to come down there on election day, find it, and sign it in order for it to be counted. In just about any other election I would just let it go. But this one is just too important not to have my vote counted. _________________ "And no pair has been more wrong, more loudly, more often, than the two Senators from Massachusetts, Ted Kennedy and John Kerry"

Ohmigosh, he really WAS jumping up and down! How many times is that snippet looped? Was it one or two jumps or three or four?
Next, it'll be Dick Cheney and Donald Rumsfeld. _________________ ~ Echo Juliet ~
