Well friends..we are here, election eve! I can not believe it. Yet, I am so relieved. It seems to have been the longest campaign in history. Today I am sure we will have a variety of emotions; panic, fear, anxiety, joy, being so excited we can barely type, ..whatever it is, do me a favor? Relax, try not to watch too much news, all they are going to do is try and give Kerry all the advantages and prompting they can..IGNORE THE POLLS, please, in fact do not look at them..Get out the vote, offer to drive peeps to the polls, call family and friends and make sure they are voting, (you would be surprised!), also go to your local party and volunteer to phone bank, door to door, whatever you can do..
Then step back, take a breathe..and remember. Bush is going to win! Think positive, no negative talk today..oh, and a prayer or two would not be a bad thing either ..
Happy Election Eve my friends...in about what? 48 hours we will be celebrating our President being re-elected!! Bush 53% Kerry 47%
Talk to you later on in the evening..KEEP THE FAITH!!!
Proud, very Proud Daughter of Vet and Proud Friend of you all....

You know what's weird? After all the work, volunteering, door-bell ringing, writing, phoning, planning and praying, I feel totally relaxed now. Six months of nerves, three months of butterflies, and now I am just totally in the zone.
I thought I would be all strung out by now, but I got all the butterflies flying in formation now. _________________ The last refuge of scoundrels is not patriotism; it is finicky liberal humanitarianism.--Martin Paretz |
