Need some uplifting encouragement? Hugh Hewitt is, I consider, one of the best political observers. Read his latest observation and prediction at:

' Just fired off two emails on the subject of Kerry's discharge and his NVN contacts, one to Fred Barnes and one to Brit Hume. The little things like that I can do, including keeping the emails flying, even at the risk of losing some liberal friends, which I already have. Being out in the boonies has it's advantages but it also can be frustrating because there are not enough people available to get a game of cut throat hearts going let alone a support gathering. This is one of those areas that is stone Bush Country and no preaching is required locally; our focus has to be outside the state because we have less than a million people within our borders.
So those few of us who have gotten involved spend a lot of time at our keyboards pulling down verified facts from the Vet sites and elsewhere to fire off to family, friends and media. All this at the speed of phone lines about as fast as the Pony Express!! We've been doing this now for close to nine months and can only hope for positive results on Tuesday.
It has been a pleasure reading the threads here at Swift Vets and even though I've kept a low profile, I feed off of your commentary which helps me to formulate ideas to share with my contacts around the country. Your links to all the great sites have been especially helpful. If nothing else comes out of all the hard work at least we all will have learned more than we could have imagined.
My hats off to all of you and let's keep pounding away....... _________________ "Any government that believes money should be taken from Peter to pay Paul will, of course,

I play a lot of tennis. I like tennis, because I learn a lot about life, and myself, and the human condition, all from playing tennis. Tennis is like a very physical chess game, and the one thing I have learned is that you can never relax, never let down, and never fall into the trap of under-estimating your opponent of over-estimating yourself.
Anybody can be beat, given the right circumstances, and so no matter what my ranking, or what the odds are in any given match, I play with 110% effort.
Political campaigns have much in common with tennis matches, IMHO. And so I will keep working the program until the last vote is tallied, and/or the last court challenge is put to bed. And if the game doesn't break our way, I will just start Phase 2 of Operation Protect America from John Fraud Kerry. I hope the Kerrorists are prepared to fight this all the way, because I am.
I'm sure virtually everyone on this BB has the same commitment level. _________________ The last refuge of scoundrels is not patriotism; it is finicky liberal humanitarianism.--Martin Paretz |

On top of the possible election of that guy Kerry, we have been embarrassed by many different people in the eyes of the world. The unthinking Moore and his direct attack at America, Kerry and crew and their constant blame America, idiots like the Dixie Chicks, and the ever present 'it's Bush that is causing all of the worlds' problems' people have caused so much damage that we will never fully recover. Not that the likes of France or Germany would ever back us in anything important, but it has given the enemy ammo in their effort for world support.
I really dread the thought of Kerry getting in office but I also see Kerry destroying alliances and leaving potential new ones hanging in the wind.
I cannot understand why he demands to know our strategies and plans for fighting terror around the world. Doesn't that idiot know that you don't telegraph your punches or is he so hell bent on winning the election that he is willing to trade it for votes? That guy is either that stupid or willing to sacrifice some of our guys to gain an edge.
Please every remember to vote. My state of Ohio is a swing state that I am not too sure of. But I have been doing my best to get the word out.
Our children and the future of our country hang in the balance. _________________ Hillary and Kerry in '08? Something smells!! |

We have but two days left to defeat the VC Collaborator. There are plenty of things that we can do. If we are persistent enough the message will get through. We need to bombard the media with enough Kerry stories and information that are true for at least some of them to get through. Keep up the good work.
---------------------------------------------------------------------
I for one will refer to Hanoi Johnny as "the VC Collaborator" from now on. If it is parroted just once by the media then I will have been successful, for once leads to twice and twice leads to defeating him.
---------------------------------------------------------------------
We are at war with the most dangerous enemy that has ever faced mankind, and if we lose that war, and in doing so lose this way of freedom of ours, history will record with the greatest astonishment that those who had the most to lose did the least to prevent its happening.

Everyone needs to remember how many of the opposition keep watch on this site. These issues are starting to get some long legs. Do you think there isn’t some midnight oil being burned in that camp to-night. That fact alone should bring a smile to your face! I want to be on the Chief’s side please! |
