You're absolutely right.
I just wish someone like Zell Miller could call a press conference and bring up this issue and DEMAND that Kerry release his military records. Then when he won't that doubt is created.

NOTE: When I called the local offices they wouldn't record my comment unless I was a resident of that state.
Call the local office of the state you are a resident of.
My call to McConnel's office was the first recieived this morning.

Please people, take some action.
Have you emailed 10 folks you know and asked them to spread this as the media is ignoring it?
Have you gone on the chat boards you normally frequent and shared the latest news/gossip with them and asked to spread the word?
Have you called your LOCAL news with this?
Have you called the local radio?
Have you emailed your favorite tv news programs?
PLEASE PLEASE HELP SPREAD THIS.
IF EVERYDAY PEOPLE ARE NOT TALKING ABOUT THIS TOMORROW, ITS OVER AND WE HAVE NOT HELPED THE AMERICAN PUBLIC KNOW WHAT WE ARE DEALING WITH!! |

I called Zell Miller's office - the lady was very nice and said they are aware of all of this and are currently having a meeting on this as they have been receiving a lot of calls. I asked if he was planning on a public annoucement of any kind, and she said she did not know as they are still in a meeting about all this.

You are absolutely right as he's a courageous, stand up guy, who won't mind bucking the system - the old boy network of the Senate - to do the right thing. He's a patriot first and I am hoping and praying he will get this to the public, and hearing they were in a meeting over this already was VERY ENCOURAGING.

I have called Senator Shelby and Session office for Alabama....
Session office has printed off the article and handed it to Sessions!!!
I suggested that someone or a group simply step out on the Capitol steps and ask for a direct response from Sen. Kerry to set the record straight before tomorrow....
We need our elected Republican officials to carry the ball here!!!!

I want to believe in the Lipson article but.... the key points are circumstantial and not proven.
I just reread (again) all the JK documents related to his discharge and it hit me!
Paragraphy 3 of the 13 Jul 78 ltr (Acceptance of resignation/discharge from the Naval Reserve) states "You are requested to rerturn your identification card to this command for proper disposition." Do any of us think he would still have an ID card if he had been given a OTH discharge three years earlier?
We (this forum) need to be very careful - we don't want to "pull a CBS" on this issue. We must stick to facts that can be proven! |
