I keep watching pundits talk about how close Ohio is and how its trendy towards Kerry. Most pundits have Ohio leaning Kerry, but look at the polls over the last week. Am I crazy or is Bush pulling ahead. Just look at the trend in Rasmussen's analysis. Its gotta make you feel good. I think the MSM is trying to create a horserace. Zogby, Ras, Fox, Mason Dixon, all leading polls have Bush up and he's spent more time there over the last fews days than any other state.

MSM is definitely either 1) trying to create a horserace (FOX), or 2) tilt the election to Kerry (all the rest). So far I haven't found a single source of unbiased and informed news regarding the polls (at least not one that I trust). |

The MSM just wants to keep us glued to our TVs today. I am not going to even turn it on. |

I have not turned on my TV since yesterday. It gives me more peace. Thomas Jefferson was right for his remark, "I do not take a single newspaper, nor read one a month, and I feel myself infinitely the happier for it." _________________ All truth passes through three stages. Actually, if you check Real Clear Politics, for the averages of the state polls they have
FL Bush +1.1
OH Bush +1.6
WI Bush +0.7
IA Bush +0.5
NM Bush +2.0
If Bush wins FL and OH, he wins the election. If he loses OH but wins WI and IA, he wins the election. If he loses FL but wins WI, IA, and NM, the EC is a tie, and it goes to the Republican-controlled House of Representatives.
Not to mention the fact that Bush is only down 0.8 in PA, which could shift!
Or, there's also a chance in Hawaii! _________________ The traitor will crater! |

Not only is MSM trying to create a horserace they're trying to wack the knee(s) of the other horse! It's about the most horrible thing we all collectively been through...we MUST rise up against this media juggernaut as soon as Bush wins!! Thanks goodness for talk radio and the bloggospere!! Go Ohio, Go Florida, Go PA, Go Bush!!!
By the way folks the Republican HQs and offices need you to call TONIGHT - I've been doing this and talking to undecided voters - one a WWII veteran who was unsure of Iraq but we got to talking about Iraq and Afghanistan and the proof that Bush's policy is working. Another man who said he's raising his child on his own...we got to talking about immigration and welfare and I think he'll vote Bush now...
Get out there! Hold signs in Malls, on the overpasses, by shopping areas...go in twos and threes so you can put up with harrassment...put out yard signs tonight - there are still undecideds and unbelievably, they may decide based on how many of who's yard signs are up...

I especially love the 1500+ LV poll in the Cleveland Plain Dealer showing Bush up by 3 points...that's more accurate than other polls because of the larger sample size...in fact Bush is outside of the margin of error (2.6%) in that poll! |

I know a lot of Democrats that are voting for Bush. They voted for Gore in 2000. They are calling people this morning. This has been a big surprise for us. They are also asking about other Dem candidates they supported in the past. I think there is going to be a backlash against the Dem party. Stolen Honor and Unfit for Command really works. This really lifted my spirits! |

TX, thanks for your comment about the democrat backlash. I have been a lifelong democrat, but since the Clinton fiasco, I have been "evolving." I was sorely let down by Clinton, and felt I had been duped by him when the Monica thing came out. I reluctantly voted for Gore in 2000, what a meally mouth he was, but I thought Bush was not experienced enough to be president. Then came 9/11, which fundamentally changed me as a person. When I saw W react the way he did, I was so glad he was our president. I was completely moved by the speech he gave at the National Cathedral after 9/11, and was forever touched by it. I do not agree with everything Bush has done, but I can see his character shining through. I love Zell Miller, he is my hero. The speech he gave at the convention perfectly expressed my sentiments. Since 9/11, I have done a complete 180 philosophically, and have started to open my eyes to liberalism and its empty promises, and have come to realize that the socialist leaning countries are not the ones that do well, etc. I cannot say I agree with Bush on all of his agenda, but have to say I agree with him more than I do with Kerry, by a long shot, not that Kerry has a believable position on anything. Generally, this confessional is to say that there must be more like me out there, and we will be coming out of the woodwork tomorrow! I even volunteered at my local Republican center to get out the vote last week! I absolutely cannot stand Kerry, and am grateful to the swiftboat guys for all they have done to get the OBVIOUS truth out. I have watched and followed with interest John O'Neill and I cannot believe his stamina and inner fortitude to put up with the crap that has been thrown his way, he is another hero in my book. I hope that all of the truth about Kerry comes out, and he gets shamed into obsurity as soon as possible and we as a country can tackle the most critical things we are facing right now. I guess I am a security mom, but more than that, I am an undeclared Republican voting for W in the morning. Thanks for listening. |
