Bush - Cheney : Enormous executive experience.
Kerry Edwards : No executive experience (except for Kerry's dubious "leadership" in 'Nam.)
Bush - Cheney : (Outside of politics) Businessmen
Kerry - Edwards : (Outside of politics) Lawyers
Bush after hearing of 911 : Calmly continued children's lesson for 7 minutes.
Kerry after hearing of 911 : (By his own description) Frozen, stunned, unable to think for 30 minutes.
Bush : History of strong support for National Defense.
Kerry : History of opposition to strong National Defense.
Bush : Supports new weapons systems.
Kerry : Opposes new weapons systems.
Bush : Strongly believes in the power of freedom and democracy to change the world for the better.
Kerry : Calls Bush "ideologue" and infers it is "not smart".
Bush : Cut taxes, which increased revenue flow to gov. by stimulating the economy.
Kerry : Would rescind most stimulative part of tax cuts, increase tax code complexity.
Bush : Could have faked WMD in Iraq but did not do so.
Kerry: Filed false reports to make himself look better, while in Vietnam, says his Commanding Officer.
Bush : Has signed executive order authorizing release of all his military records. (Broader than Form 180 & overrides it.)
Kerry : Has not signed Form 180, almost 100 known pages of records not released, says Washington Post.
Bush : Liberal Main Stream Media opposes Bush, stoops low to do so. (Rathergate, Koppelgate, etc.)
Kerry : Liberal Main Stream Media supports Kerry & covers for him.
Bush : Humble.
Kerry : Pompous.
Bush - Cheney : Models of patience and inner strength in times of trouble.
Kerry - Edwards : Panick mode. Appear to have no sense of historical perspective.
Bush - Cheney : Present image of U.S. strength & confidence.
Kerry - Edwards : Blurt out our weaknesses. Give our enemies hope.
Bush : Knows when it's time to pass by unreliable "allies", call on your true friends, and "roll".
Kerry : Delusional need for allies neither reliable nor strong. Derides our true friends.
Anybody with some more good one-liners, please add 'em! Going into an e'mail I am sending out this evening to friends -- feel free to use any of this you want. Try to couch 'em in terms to appeal to undecideds. _________________ Paul R. |
