They just said on the news that the report was wrong. The number they were reporing as votes was how many times the machine had been used since it was last serviced.

Good thing the Republican lawyers are on it. They surely know who had access to those machines before they were put out for voting this morning.

This will NEVER stop unless someone starts going to jail for it.

what will never stop? that the new voting machines have a counter that keeps track of the times it has been used? hardly counts as being "votes" they'll figure it out, in time. I like the paper ballots used in my area. just like a sat form, very clear to understand. no butterfly ballot.

No smart guy. I was talking about the original story of votes being in the machine before anyone voted. I posted before I saw the updated report. If nothing illegal was done then GREAT. But since the Dems are notorious for fraud it wasn't a far stretch to think something shady was going on.

That's what they said but that doesn't explain why all the other machines said "clean". Were the other machines all brand newor just serviced? Confused

I like the optical system we have here.We are given a large form where we just fill in the circle .Then the form is inserted into a scanning machine .Simple and easy to use. The reason many places have the old punch card system is it is easy to cheat witth those machines.

I have the same thing. instant tabulation, if there is a problem with the ballot, it kicks it out then and there, and if the machine blows up, you still have the ballots. why can't we just use these everywhere?

I am for National Voter Registration with precincts designated and switched when you move to another precinct. one type of card.
Same for the actual voting. One type of machine, a receipt given. End of story. CTW

the paper absentee ballot I received here in Texas was really easy. Esp if u were voting straight party. It was pretty clear anyway, u darkened a circle next to the persons name.
now my hubby did have a problem with the machine-not sure what type, but he voted straight republican, and it showed him voting straight democrat. He got it straightened out and IT WAS reported as an iregularity.
I don't blame the republicans for going on the offense here, when u have mary poppins trying to vote-u can't be too careful.

Deputy City Commissioner Says Internet Reports About Fraudulent Voting Are False

Deputy City Commissioner Ed Schulgan says the stories on the Internet and the "Drudge" report are not true.
The city is not impounding any voting machines, and they have found no machines that had votes on them already.

Schulgan says they've contacted all of the judges of elections in those areas, and they indicated that they printed out the ballots showing that all candidates had "zero" votes and that's when they opened the machines for voting.

As of 11:30am, Schulgan says voting is going smoothly in the city with relatively few problems and no complaints of harassment or intimidation

Dead people are on a different time zone, so their polls were open.

Don"t blame the poor souls of the deceased, the democrats are the ones that registered them. Maybe the democrats, that did this, will be haunted for the rest of there lives, for this dasterdly act, gousts never forget.
