I remember when voting used to be fun. People met you with smiles and hellos. My parents' house was a polling place for as long as I can remember and it was a pleasure to volunteer our house and time.

Anyways I went to the usual place (a school) to vote today and the place was like a morgue with stone-faced Nation of Islam type “poll watchers” right in your face when you signed the sheet. Man those guys could use some mouthwash. This is a heavily Republican suburb, and clearly this is payback, but fair is fair I guess.

BTW: I was more p!ssed than intimidated. Wish I had KimmyMac with me to shout down that thug. I can just hear it: "Get out of my face, and for God's sake man, go find some mouthwash!"
