the bad news is its +4 for Kerry ...

The good news is that its just the first and it could easily be from pro-Kerry parts of the state ...

Saw it on National Review, checking for their source ...

crap. Here's what Drudge has -

Quote:
Election 2004 has been rocked with first wave of exit polls which show Kerry competitive in key states, campaign and media sources tell DRUDGE.... National Election Pool -- representing six major news organization -- shows Kerry in striking distance -- with small lead -- in Florida and Ohio..

Does anyone know what it was like at this time in 2000, and how indicative it is of the actual results? I'd think that the Kerry people would be the ones voting earlier - they don't go to work and they would vote early because of anger/bitterness over 2000 (making sure their vote is counted). That's just a guess though.

Its BS I agree ...

but the media will use these to try and call States early for Kerry, we need to be on the lookout and agressivley fight any early calls by the MSM ...

in other words it can give us a heads up that the MSM may try to call a state early ...

Exit polls had Gore Winning Florida.

I remember around lunchtime in 2000 when Drudge had a big flashing light and said something about exit polls showing a big lead for Gore in Florida. I remember being sick to my stomach. We all know how it turned out...
