Did anyone keep a list of the "Celebs" Rolling Eyes who promised to leave CONUS when W wins? We'll need to remind them in the days ahead. Smile Steve

I'm still pissed that Barbara Streisand and Alec Baldwin didn't make good on their promise from 2000 that if Bush won they were going to leave the country. That's some good motivation to vote for Bush.

I saw Mel Gibson on TV the other day. He said he doesn't think either one of them are worthy of the White House. Clint Eastwood is a Democrat and Doris Day has been an outspoken liberal for years. Hmmmm...

Yeah, I know there are some questionables on there, but there's a lot of crossing over this election. Gibson is supposedly a registered Repub and here's the latest thing he told Hannity. This is from the Newsmax site:

Mel Gibson: Kerry 'Scares Me'

Mega movie star Mel Gibson gave the first indication as to how he'll vote in tomorrow's presidential election, saying this afternoon that while he won't make up his mind until the last minute, "Kerry scares me."

"I have problems with both these major candidates," the "Passion" producer told ABC Radio host Sean Hannity. "And I believe that I'm going to be soul-searching till I put my mark on that ballot."

Gibson continued:
"I have problems with the way the war in Iraq was handled. But I believe that putting Kerry in there scares me far worse."

"I always go to a higher power when it comes to these questions," he explained. "You know, what's the right thing to do? And I look for that kind of inspiration that's going to help me sort of put the right mark on that ballot."

When Hannity asked who he was leaning toward, Gibson would only say, "I'm leaning towards getting rid of Prop 71," the California proposal to fund embryonic stem call research with $6 billion in state funds.

He will vote Bush! Cool

Mel: He has *problems* with the way the war on Iraq was "handled"?

Oh brother. Not another arm chair general...Lord, deliver us from their sensitive sensibilities. Maybe he and Pat Robertson should be over at CentCom.

Give me a break.

Yeah, I agree. He needs to stick with moviemaking and forget the Monday morning quarterbacking. But at least he's voting for Bush. He's not a koolaid drinker.

We can ONLY hope the airliner door doesn't hit them on the butt on their way on the plane...

Celebrity exile planning UPDATE!

First Amerikan Icon Robert Redford plans to move to Ireland---now Larry Flynt is planning to stay in France.

Let's go to the tape:

American porn mogul Larry Flynt said he may decide to go into exile if George W Bush is re-elected president of the United States.
"If Bush is re-elected - but I don't want to even consider the thought for one second - I really have to think about living somewhere else," Flynt said early Monday in a strip club on the Champs Elysees in Paris where he was celebrating his 62nd birthday.

Flynt, who made his fortune after publishing the popular porn magazine Hustler, said he had come to Paris to "escape the nauseating atmosphere of the electoral campaign".

He was accompanied by 40 strippers, who came to Paris especially for the birthday celebration. Holding one well-endowed dancer in each arm, Flynt told journalists that he hoped American voters would make "a good choice for their individual freedoms".

Let's see that fat, talentless b*****d and former movie star Alec Baldwin try to top THAT!

You can add Vikings coach Mike Tice to the list of Bush supporters. I think Paul Hamm is also a supporter.

Funny thing is, Alec Baldwin now claims that he never said that he'd leave if W was elected in 2000 but that it was said by ex-wife, Kim Basinger, and erroneously attributed to him--

Uh huh--Sure--I'll believe that when the Pope stops celebrating Mass on Easter--

Has anyone seen him of late?--I saw him interviewed by O'Reilly during the Democrat convention and his appearance really struck me--Idiot or not, he used to be a right good lookin' guy but that night he not only looked bloated, but the bitterness and rancor that he's been carrying around with him was really evident on his face--It was almost sad--Almost--

By the by, I don't think I saw Vince Gill's name on the Good Guys List above but it does belong there--C
