http://www.intrade.com/#

Trading on the election results:

In the morning the "margin" was $60 to win on Bush, now its down Bush $48 ..

This is where the money is going -- Fox news is very pessimestic ...

I'm starting to get worried ... When the Money starts to bet on Kerry ....

Ouch!

The purpose of these leaked reports is to make you worry. I'm not worried the point is to get out and vote.

IMHO-It was a mistake to let women vote.

I know, I l know it is not politically correct but they tend to vote socialist and for any politician that promises free "Stuff".

There are some suprising bright spots..

Good News from Connecticut!

I was on the phone with my daughter in Connecticut. She went to the polls with her father-in-law a staunch union member Democrat and they both voted for GW. She went on to say that traveling through the highly Democratic, middle of Connecticut shoreline towns of East Haven & Branford they saw floods of Bush/Cheney signs..

It would be nice to see it closer there, than is being called.

This just added to Drudge Report story on Early Exit Polling..."... But early sample was based on a 59- 41 women to men ratio..." This is just more BS from the MSM polling hacks.

Scotty Dog, you NEED one. Wink

Can't agree with the not allowing women to vote part, but, the rest, I'll let pass, because, historically and statistically, you're correct.

I think 9-11 may have done a lot to educate women about things that are more important than social programs - the things that go back to the Constitution, such as "common defense."

Safety and security have become more important to everyone with any common sense than funding swimming pools in Iowa or libraries in Georgia or film fests in California.

Last polls I saw showed women heading for Bush at about the same number as men - just a couple of points behind.

I heard Rush earlier today saying that this National Election POOL
is being conducted by AP and that AP feeds it to the networks.
Considering the kind of bias we have gotten from AP over the past
months, how much can we believe these exit polls. I will not put much
faith in the veracity of this polling, I will wait for the ACTUAL VOTE COUNT.

We need to remember the lessons we've learned from this year's campaign. WE CANNOT TRUST THE MSM OR THE AP TO REPORT ANYTHING ACCURATELY!!! Does anyone doubt that the precincts that they are polling could mostly be in heavily democratic areas? I don't doubt for one second that they would coordinate such a stunt in order to discourage Republicans from voting. Time to dig in deep, we WILL win this election!

Hmmm. Why were those numbers rushed out so quickly? What are they trying to prove by inflating their egos? Wink

The Bush people speak out at The Corner:

A HIGH-LEVEL BUSH CAMPAIGN AIDE [Ramesh Ponnuru]
is pouring cold water on the Drudge "exit-poll" numbers. Points out that the first round of exit polls in 2000 had Bush tied in Colorado when he ended up winning by 9 points. The numbers appear to be unrepresentative samples, also, with a disproportionate number of women. Aide says he feels "pretty good" about OH and FL, Wisconsin is "close," and Iowa "very good." (Drudge, btw, has some Senate numbers up now, showing Thune, Coburn, and Demint up for the Rs, and Castor and Salazar for the Ds.)

These are the same people who fed us the bogus report about Gore winning FL by 6% in 2000, ten minutes before polls closed in the GOP-heavy Panhandle. Lots of them went home, discouraged, and by conservative estimates, it cost Bush about 8,000 net votes.

If they had stayed and voted, and not listened to the lefty media, Bush would have led FL by about 10,000 votes in the first count, Gore probably wouldn't have tried to sue his way into the White House, and the whole country would have been spared a month of heartache.

Even if Kerry does lead by 20% in a state exit poll, that might be only a few hundred votes! Millions of voters could vote between now and closing time, cancelling them out easily!!! An evening vote counts just as much as a morning vote, so these exit polls should be simply IGNORED!!!

I live in Connecticut, just south of Kerry's Commonwealth of Taxachusetts, and I don't have too many illusions of Bush winning CT, but I threw my vote in there anyway--who knows, the Kerry people might get overconfident and not vote!

Kerry manipulated the US into pulling out of Vietnam, let's not let him and the media manipulate us into conceding this election before it's over!!!

Drudge is realizing that he was used... and he deserves it.

He is back-tracking NOW... after causing so much anguish Evil or Very Mad

Quote:
Exit poll mania spread through media and campaign circles Tuesday afternoon after first wave of morning data showed Kerry competitive in key states.... National Election Pool -- representing six major news organization -- shows Kerry in striking distance -- with small 1% lead -- in Florida and Ohio, sources tell DRUDGE... [But early 2000 exit polls showed Gore +3 in Florida; showed Gore-Bush even in CO [Bush won by 9], exits showed Gore +4 in AZ [Bush won by 6]... Exits Senate races: Thune +4 Castor +3 Burr +6 Bunning +6 Coburn +6 Demint +4 Salazar +4...
