Well Cincy area should counteract Cuyahoga area.
Truly appreciate your updates.
Lived in Franklin Co for 30 + years now in Fl have to keep flipping between the OH & FL sites.
I love the SwiftVets Election 2004 Central! |
Angel,
Keep me updated with FL! Everything I have seen is looking good!!
Cincinnati really helps Bush tremendously for such a big city. Columbus is just about even, and then there's Cleveland No offense to those of you up North! |

From Powerline
With less than 2% of the votes have been counted, Kerry holds a 2-point lead. What is interesting is that most of the votes are coming from Cleveland and Columbus. Kerry's lead comes entirely from Cleveland, while the candidates are tied in Columbus, traditionally a swing county. |

Okay guys. Just got off the phone with my sis in Warren County. People are still voting there so it is gonna be a long night. Voter turnout was HUGE in Warren thanks in part to Republican Get Out the Vote efforts. She sounded extremely upbeat.
On a side note I talked to my mom. She and my dad are on the way to FL from OH and can only get Public Radio. Well a democrat from Milwaukee was being interviewed and my mom said she sounded like she was crying. She said something like "Well if Bush is going to be reelected he better turn this country around." Wonder what's up there? |

Bush, George W. Republican 218,892 53.17%
Kerry, John F. Democratic 190,762 46.34%
6.20% in...Checking which new county reported the HUGE bush gain.
Update: It was Allen county that came in strong Bush to knock him back ahead. Surprisingly, Lake County is now 72%(88,000 votes) in and is Bush 52-48. Lake County is a good sign if its going to go Bush, I think it was about even or went to Gore in 2000.
Cuyahoga county has 38 of 1458 precincts counted (expect them to be there for a LONG LONG time counting the votes. I heard very long lines there and in inner-city Columbus; Cleveland Ave. 5 hour wait)
GEORGE W. BUSH/DICK CHENEY 28492
JOHN F. KERRY/JOHN EDWARDS 52310

FANTASTIC!!! If there's not widespread voter fraud in Cuyahoga, I think Bush will pull Ohio (barely---will take forever though b/c people are still waiting in line! Expect lawsuits too! . Franklin County will be about a tie, Hamilton will barely go Bush, and the rural counties are DEFINITELY pro-bush like 65-35 or so. I've gotta take a break here and get something to eat!
