I mentioned very early today: do not believe exit polls because they are skewed. This year, even Matt Drudge was duped. That was the plan, if you remember from yesterday -- K was going to claim everything EARLY! The only reason it could possibly have worked was it would keep so-so voters away. THANK GOODNESS Mother Nature intervened today.
As a result the exit polls and the REAL polls will not match ... or come close! |

I agree, and 25% of Lorain & 25% of Mahoning are already in which is big time Kerry country. While Butler & Warren have 0% reporting. Watch out for Delaware County too, it is growing very fast, and is filled with real expensive homes or rural country folks (good demographics to go about 63 Bush--like most of the rural counties seem to be). |

Ok, here is Cuyahoga County updated from their webpage, it doesnt appear on the OHio Secretary of State yet, they are getting a lot of their precincts in...Watch out for Kerry to make a jump here (or appear so on TV).
Vote for 1 (With 471 of 1458 precincts counted)
MICHAEL BADNARIK/RICHARD V. CAMPAGNA 617
GEORGE W. BUSH/DICK CHENEY 97979
JOHN F. KERRY/JOHN EDWARDS 147696 |

Wally, they did that with him early in the race---gave him like 4,000 votes. If you check somewhere, I bet Kerry has the exact same # from the same county. THey made an error about an hour or so ago and corrected it. I was furious at first too! They better fix this one as well!
UPDATED: Wally, check out HAMILTON County
Hamilton
Cobb, David Keith-WI 39,541 34.62%
Kerry, John F. Democratic 39,541 34.62%
Bush, George W. Republican 34,804 30.47%
Badnarik, Michael 186 0.16%
They put Kerry & Cobb down for the same amount of votes...They corrected it last time, hopefully they get it right this time too!

I really think that the turnout was out of this world. They had no idea the numbers would be like this. The Republican Party is extremely strong there and control most of the local positions. The lines were an hour long all day. There are some huge conservative churches out there that really motivated their congregations to vote. What you are seeing is the evangelicals that stayed home last time. Plus the defense of marriage act is a huge thing too. They have really worked hard there to motivate the base. WAY TO GO GUYS, BRING IT HOME!!
Angelnoel, sorry I didn't answer you. Yes, they are waiting for ballots, they are determined to vote. |

WOW, thanks, that is about 100 times easier to read than the Ohio Secretary Of State Page I was using. Thanks again!
Update: The NY Times is totally different than the Ohio SOS. In some the NY Times is way ahead of the Ohio SOS, but in Athens & Cuyahoga, they are way behind...weird.
