The networks are not suppose to be projecting before the polls are closed !

I still thank (and hope) that the nature of Kerry's support will leave 2-3% of his 'supporters' at home. Consider that Kerry has very poor positive support and very high 'anti-Bush' supporters who are really not excited about Kerry at all.
The President's bona fide support is much higher than Kerry's. I think (again, hope) that will skew in Bush's favor especially when considering the fact that Bush supporters, for the most part, are casting a vote for the protection and safety of their families against terrorism.
Interesting numbers on KY. Most pre-election polls had KY 14-20 points for Bush. With 19% precincts reporting, it's Bush by less than 10. At first glance this is bad, but perhaps this points to the early figures being skewed in Kerry's favor.
It's gonna be an interesting evening. Go GW! _________________ Think!, Man... Think! |

I suspect Kentucky's slight decrease in the margin for Bush relates back to Bunning (if I have the name right) who managed to perhaps end his career with some very inappropriate comments re his democrat opposition resembling Sadam's sons.... Evidently, Bunning also made other odd comments (I don't know what they were) to raise some questions about senility.... I saw one news clip where he was actually saying "I am not senile". Sigh.
However, I'm from Kentucky and with only 10% of the vote in...those might not reflect the traditionally Republican leaning Western half of the state (and Louisville, Lexington...sometimes)...so who knows.... |

They are projecting as the polls close in each state. |

At this stage, all "Bush" states are 60-40.
VERY LOW actual vote count, called states are running about 15-20% counted.
Anybody remember how this was going last go-around? |

I do remember in 2000 that GA went uncalled for Bush while he was handily ahead by (I seem to recall) 8 points or so. Bush was also up in FL early despite the early 2000 call for Gore by the MSM.
Bush currently up by 14 in FL with 9% in. Not sure where that 9% is reporting from but I doubt it's the more conservative panhandle. _________________ Think!, Man... Think! |

Terry McAwful earlier today was asked if he thought the election would be held up for recounts like in 2000. He claimed that there would not be any need for any recounts this year.........THATS BECAUSE BUSH IS GOING TO WIN BIG!!!! Its the votes ---Stupid. |

Hey Guys,
Even if sKerry wins ( which I think is impossible) we've still got ourselves to fall back on. Band of Brothers and all that. The Repubs could tottaly blow it and it would only strangthen our resolve to fight. My personal motto is : "IN THE STREETS IF WE MUST ,IN BACK ALLEYS AND IN THE SHOPS. THE WORLD IS OURS AND WITH GODS HELP WE WILL NOT FAIL" _________________ Hey swifty, I'm with you, Just watch you don't get "Kerry'd away in the propwash

Digger -- When kerry loses I hope that is only the beginning. Too easy for him to limo back to MA. He needs / deserves to see the treason charges pressed. Put him in jail,,, unless they still execute traitors. |

sKerry has lost. Now we just have to regroup and plan our next move.
The sKerry campaign thought they were going to win big time but they are getting thier butts kicked all over the place.. You gotta figure that most of the sKerry vote is a Hate Bush vote and not a true sKerry vote. That's a prety weak beam to support a platform with. I don't think sKerry is all that popular with liberals to begin with. sKerry is Dog Meat _________________ Hey swifty, I'm with you, Just watch you don't get "Kerry'd away in the propwash

Bush wins with 291
Kerry loses with 241
Kerry will admit defeat by midnight. |
Okay I wasn't perfect, but I only missed Wisconson and his concession by 12 hours _________________ <insert pithy signature here> |
