A well deserved congratulations to Navy Chief. Navy Chief is just below John O'Neill on my list of heroes. TJ is right up there with all the Swift Vets.
BTW, I am special too, as Navy Chief once PMed me. |

No, I wasn't born here. But let me just say that Texas and I get along pretty well...
Especially West Texas, where I live.
My county went 75 percent Bush. 75 percent. The more rural counties that surround mine, they went almost 80 percent!!!
There's lots of mesquite and brush and hardly any water, but it is truly a paradise of ideas.
WEST TEXAS!!!! |
I never did ask you where you're stationed in west Texas..
Goodfellow..Dyass(sp!?!).. Resse..? The last AF base I was at befoer I left was Goodfellow... Not always user friendly.. and VERY strict (if you're there.. you know why!) |

Hail to the Chief,Hail to the Navy Chief, ** HAIL YES **
DNC says 240,000 Ohio provisional votes not counted,Ken Blackwell says only 135,00 to 140,000,pertually impossible for sKERRY all.
Then here comes military absentee's!!
Ohio is GWB's, my prediction !!!!!!
Thanks to Navy Chief & everyone who worked so hard on this operation !!
& Thank the Lord for what ever his hand had in helping us.

I'm sure my beloved will be logging in soon...but at the moment he is comatose on the couch, where he fell asleep at some point after 3 a.m. (when I hit the rack) with the computer on his lap, monitoring the results. I just hopped on for a fix of rationalism before I leave for school and face the liberally biased academia that is my college. Just wanted to say....
SWIFTIES ROCK!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I don't know if "W" et al will ever publicly admit it...but I for one firmly believe that were it not for the undying efforts of the Swift Boat Vets we would not be sitting where we are right now. All of us here on this forum came together and helped get out the word and get out the vote. But they are the ones who brought forth the message. I'm sure the pundits will say it was the Evangelical vote that turned the tide...and it is true that they came in big. And since I count myself amongst that group as well, I'll accept that analysis to a degree. But if the men that we lovingly call the Swifties hadn't been brave enough to stand up for the truth...speak it clearly...yell it when necessary, the outcome would've been vastly different. I know some of them are out there listening...so I just wanted them to know that I am honored and indebted to them and the overwhelming sacrifices they made. May this election serve as a vindication of not only them...but all you out there who served proudly in the war no one wants to talk about. Regardless of the fact that the electoral will be somewhat close...the overwhelming victory in the popular vote tells the tale. Honesty and integrity DO matter. And the Swifties and all you other Vietnam Vets have it by the truckload. Thank you!!!! _________________ Jill

Oh...and as an aside, since everyone else is already giving away Texas...I'll throw in Louisiana, my home state, and Idaho, the Chief's home state. Woooohoooooooooo!!!! They may be little...but they are never insignificant!!! _________________ Jill

The image of the Traitor in his disheveled fatigues, improperly displayed decorations, with the fake MacArthur accent intoning his lies before Congress sent chills up my spine that this disgraceful man could become POTUS. This morniing my whole body radiates with joy that the American people led by the Swiftvets prevented a true catastrophe. May God bless President Bush and all the Swiftvets and Vietnam veterans. _________________ Capt. USAF 1965-1968
