This is a pivotal moment. Viet Nam Vets were shamed into silence when they should have had a ticker tape parade. Kerry was part of the movement that shamed them.
Tonight Kerry and his record and his beliefs have been rejected by the majority, and the truth prevails, and that is that Viet Nam was not a Baby Boomer revolt to which we could be seduced into Communistic grandour, and nostalgic 1970's daydreams again... The nightmare is over, and I now have renewed faith in the American people and the country. Thank you Swift Boat Vets, and all Vets of Viet Nam. You are as great of a patriot as have ever been!! _________________ To model our political system upon speculations of lasting tranquility, is to calculate on the weaker springs of the human character.

Revenge is a dish best served cold.
Sometimes 30 years cold.
I'm now giddy, since the OHIO win looks fairly decisive, and Kerry would need virtually ALL the provisional ballots to go his way to take the state.
So many things to be thankful for. Osama will continue to run and hide until he is captured or killed, Iraq will have a chance at a democratic future, we haven't elected a traitor President, and that (Deleted By Admin)Thereza will not be the 1st lady. |

This past January, I thought I was the only one who remembered things differently.
I was willing to speak up for myself and those brothers of mine whose names are on a wall I've never seen. I really didn't need the support I found here until it became apparent that your testimony was far greater than any I could offer.
I thank you. My kids thank you. All of those who we left behind thank you. I know there are many of us who still feel like we deserve to have our honor back. It's on its way. |

I woke up today to see its basically over. I want to thank the boat guys, and history should record their mobalizing Americas veterans and military family was the straw that broke Kerry. Theres no question the military vote sunk Kerry.
Its personaly satisfying too. I worked hard to change peoples opinions and make them aware of what this guy pulled after coming home from that war.
Good work swiftees..................and than.............Rich _________________ "Freedom" is never "free" |

It's beyond great to see that it all still works. Good people will put themselves in harm's way to defend what they believe is right and fight what they believe is wrong. Thank you Swifties and POWs!
What better time will there be to set the record straight about Vietnam? Especially in comparison to our current war on terror. Take a good break, first. You've earned it!

And now Kerry can do what he likes to do:
Surrender.
Maybe he's waiting to fly to Paris to concede, for old times sake. |

Not so Fast
We have a lot of work ahead of us.
We kept him from getting elected, but isn't there more to it?
What exactly is the "end game"?
OK, take some R&R and get back to me later. _________________ America voted for solid LEADERSHIP and gave "W" a mandate to carry on.
