An interview with the "Right" . . . great words about Swiftvets and Vietnam Vets:
CURMUDGEON: Good morning, Right, who won, who lost?
RIGHT: Losers first . . .
Loser - The disloyal Michael Moore, with his crappy movie . . . the movie where Osama got his talking points.
Losers - The criminals who slashed tires and vandalized Republican offices. Gutless punks.
Losers - The smarmy,"we’re smarter than you” bloggers who’ve attacked this President unmercifully. These children needed a good spanking. They got it last night.
Losers - the snarky Canadians and Europeans . . . the American public sent a clear message: “Shut up and butt out! You’re either with us or against us.”
Losers - the idiots who did the Exit Polls . . . morons . . . .
Loser - the United Nations . . . in your face you lying, thieving bunch of scoundrels
Losers - the Iraqi insurgents . . . hold on to your ass fellas . . . prepare for martydom . . . George Bush, your worst nightmare, is coming to get you
Losers - the gay lobby . . . voters said “hell no!” to gay marriage
Losers - big-taxing, government knows-it-all, kumbaya-singing, effete, pseudo-intellectual, Eastern Liberalism and its rust-belt union-inspired socialism . . .
Loser - John Edwards . . . who gave up his Senate seat . . . no big deal, you weren’t a very good senator anyway
Loser - John Kerry . . . time to retire Senator . . . and get a lawyer . . . the Swiftvets aren’t done with you yet
CURMUDGEON: That’s a lot of losers . . . so who won?
RIGHT: Lots of winners . . . . but I’ll keep it simple . . .
Winners - Yale University and Skull & Bones
Winner - lawyers involved with the election
Winner - 58 million Americans (51%) . . . an overwhelming mandate as things go nowadays
Winners - the Republicans . . . who decisively strengthened their hold in the Senate and House
Winner - John Thune who beat Democrat Tom Daschle for the South Dakota Senate seat
Winner - David Vitter . . . first Republican senator, ever, from Louisiana
Winners - the Swiftboat Veterans For Truth . . . these men had the courage to speak the truth . . . it was men like these who fired “the shot heard round the world” in 1775 . . . they are true American patriots. Spat on and attacked once again as they were in the 60s, these boys held steadfast to their mission. Congratulations, sailors . . . mission accomplished!
Winners - the Vietnam Veteran and his family who have suffered silently for years from the shameful treatment of their fellow Americans . . . people like Kerry who lied and accused them of terrible things . . . when these young Americans were only doing their duty. The Vietnam Veteran’s Memorial celebrated the honored dead . . . this resounding defeat of John Kerry is an affirmation of the living Vietnam Vets who have once again, done their duty. God Bless You. Thank you for your sacrifice and for your service so long ago.
Welcome home!
