It was a very close-run thing due to the 100,000-vote margin in Ohio but our country has gained another lease on life. We had to choose a path and we chose the right one.

I quoted Henry V's Saint Crispin's Day speech in "Whatever happens tomorrow," and it is a pleasure and a relief to post the followup:

Swiftees and POWs, you are my heros. This election tuned on your efforts combined with the super blogosphere. I agree with the guys at Power Line; because of blogs the Swiftees' evidence that Kerry is unfit was known about by 57% of voters in early August, when the MSM was studiously ignoring O'Neill et al. The Internet soon made it impossible for the MSM to blow O'Neill off, with the result that that masterful gentleman became a talking head all over TV.

You guys derailed Kerry's campaign and turned Vietnam and his "band of brothers" into an Albatross around his neck. You countered-weighted the outrageous propaganda of Michael Moore with devastating truth.

From the bottom of my heart, thank you. John and the others, take a well-deserved vacation. Very Happy

But I'm not! HA HA HA in their FACE. I told them Bush was going to win, and I was all but spit upon...
