America was attacked on "9-11" and the military campaign in Iraq is currently the central front in the War on Terrorism.
It seems that most Americans do truly understand that fact, and has shown all of us who are serving, through the ballot box, just how much they really support us!

I'd like to echo that thanks to the people on this forum for REALLY supporting our troops. My husband was in Iraq last year, and it means so much that you all worked so that he wouldn't have to salute John Kerry as President.
I have learned a ton from this exprerience, the book, and from this forum, and this Army Wife will never see the Vietnam War the same way again. The election's over, but the learning goes on... |

Just received an e-mail from a sergeant in the Air Force in Kuwait. He said it is "a great day for the Republic!"
The American people understood what was at stake and supported our military, both active and vets. Thank you!!! |

I second that! My husband is very near his time for retirement should he choose to do so. I don't know if he could stomach serving under Kerry. |

There was a young troop on this morning from Camp Fallujah and he said all the troops had a man they could count on to finish this war correctly. The soldier also commented that with Kerry they expected a quick retreat and they would be back in ten years to fix the mess. Our military is the BEST!! _________________ Gary Armitstead

FOX showed a brief clip of our troops in Iraq watching the election coverage. Huge smiles and grins at the news Bush was re-elected. One soldier said "That's the best news I've had since I've been in Iraq!".
I'm so relieved. My husband was over there for a year...expect he'll be going back. And the thought of his life being under Kerry's command was....well....skerry!!!! During his deployment I was comforted by the fact that I believed the President would not base military decisions on poll data. |
