Perhaps the best thing to come out of all this is that Kerry, the man who stole the Vietnam veteran’s honour, was the unwitting instrument which finally brought their distinguished service to the fore and now the whole nation, and world, knows of the erroneous discredit that he placed on the Vietnam veteran’s shoulders.
Not that they owe him anything for once time is taken it can never be returned.
The Vietnam veterans will now have the knowledge that they made a very important difference, not just to America, but to the freedom of the world.
I find in shameful that a man of his disgraceful past should be able to fool so many people into thinking that he is a respectful person. I find it hard to forgive him. I was in Canada when the Vietnam soldiers came home and I was disgusted by the way they were treated. Had he apologised and accepted the damage that he had done then perhaps the hurt would be lessened but not forgotten.
His kind of evil work deserves a reward and I believe that today he received his wages in full. |

Thank you for your thoughts and support. It is good to know that the truth is out and that thinking people are not swayed by the masses, but instead, hold true to truth. |

I don't agree, Austen. I don't think Kerry has received his wages in full. A lot of us are hoping this is just the beginning of his payback. _________________ "It is not a smear, if you please, if you point out the record of your opponent."

I can understand that... but sadly, he will probably become a figure of sympathy instead and people will call him a great leader.
Grey hair a suit and soft words can make sinners into saints in this modern world and it will happen in this instance too.
It just proves that you can fool some of the people all of the time. |

Hi Austen,
Not if I can help it. Working, biting nails, and I will never give up. It's a very personal matter to me. Thankfully I trusted the SwiftVets & POW's for Truth ... finally!
PLEASE, PLEASE stay with us.
PS I was very lucky after WWII -- my Uncle gave me a precious gift in 1947. One of yours. She was a love and her name was Frances. |

"figure of sympathy"
Agreed,we don't want this individual to become a martyr further manipulating the electorate in 08---who knows he may be a VP or Sec of State.
Kerry missed a GREAT opportunity yesterday to heal the wounds he created during the 1971 congressional hearings. _________________ Tin Can Gunline Vietnam

It does seem shameful that evil people who grow grey hair and dress smartly are forgiven for their actions when younger.
The only time that people should be forgiven is when they repent their evil ways and Kerry has never repented he has only conned other people to back him in his stories and lies.
I am British and I have spoken about this many times to my friends and the people that I know and I think that the vets who were so badly treated should never give up the struggle to clear their name and if they have to pursue Kerry to the Supreme Court to do they should.
I am all for forgive and forget but the person who wants to be forgiven must ask for forgivness first. |
