As most of us Vets remember, most NavPers strongly recommended that the ORIGINAL DD-214 be filed with the County Recorder where you lived, or were going. Maybe, just maybe, JFK followed this advise. Many of these offices now have the records online in PDF formats for unofficial copies, with a charge for official certified copy. Worth checking, maybe, for those who live nearby.
