Posted at http://littlegreenfootballs.com/weblog/?entry=13439#c0237 , the following comment that I thought worthy of putting here:
If we had the strength and determination, like the 2004 election, back in the 60s and 70s, the North Vietnamese would have had the same gloomy looks on their faces and started to rethink their strategy...kind of like these guys.
We'd have a robust economic power in southeast asia just like in the south Korean pennisula.
...I forgot, that's when John Kerry started destroying hope and faith in America
Thank God it is back.
The losses to the world of what happened due to the VVAW are not just those killed and those defamed, BUT ALSO the loss of what could have been - that is, vibrant productive economies in SE Asia. A double loss. Hadn't thought about that concretely before.

This is definitely food for thought as we move on to other battles.
Kerry and his ilk wrought so much damage not only to our own country, but to SE Asia, too.
Have you ever seen that satellite photo of North Korea and South Korea at night?
South Korea is lit up from border to border.
North Korea is nearly completely dark. _________________ ~ Echo Juliet ~

What of the productive lives of those POW's & MIA's that KERRY & McCain ABANDONED in the course of their Senate Select Committee Co-Chairmanship from 1991-93....?????
What of the productive lives and contributions of those Vietnam Veterans that REMAIN homeless, despondent, and FORGOTTEN....???
What about the families, communities, and friends of those Vietnam Veterans who died in ignominy, or perhaps committed SUICIDE, due to the vicious attacks on their honor and service....???
What about all those Veterans who still suffer from the SETBACKS of the Socio-Economic BACKLASH focused directly upon them by Kerry & the VVAW...???
~~~~~~
Don't allow that RAT BA*TARD to collect a Senate Salary FOREVER because he "got away with it".....!!!!
30+ years and it still isn't finished. Kerry was defeated, but he still isn't discredited - this will not stand!
The lies of the left about Vietnam and America still need to be discredited.
The other traitors who led the communist campaign to defeat America are still around and many are in politics today - They will be exposed!
The members of the dominant media who conspire with the enemies of this country to distort the news against America for their own political purposes must be discredited.
Only when the truth is common knowledge and the record has been set straight can we rest.
Until then:
"never give in, never give in, never, never, never, never-in nothing, great or small, large or petty - never give in except to convictions of honour and good sense. Never yield to force; never yield to the apparently overwhelming might of the enemy."
Sir Winston Churchill
