I would like to say "Welcome Home" first. I was just a kid when the VN war was fought, and I always thought it was a noble cause. I thank you all for defending freedom, and I apologize for the way you all were treated when you came home. I got to wear the bracelet of a POW (not sure if I got his rank right, but he is LT Col Leo Thorsness), and I got to see him get off the plane. I went to school with the daughter of a POW (not sure of his rank at all, he was Mike Christian) and he made it home also. He even came to our school and talked to us. I do remember the joy I felt when most of our POWs came home.
Thank you for helping to expose the truth about John Kerry. The thought of him becoming CIC of my son was unbearable to me. Thank you for staying the course, in spite of his insults, and those of his supporters, towards you.
Thank you, Thank you, Thank you ! |
