|

Douglas Brinkley, the so-called presidential historian, who tried to take a piece of garbage, (Kerry) and make him into a decorated war hero, in his book, Tour of Duty, said this morning on The Don Imus Show that Kerry should seriously consider running in 2008. |

Sorry, just noticed a similar thread. But Brinkley is talking about Kerry running for president again. |

I can't believe that Brinkley would suggest such a thing. Why you ask? "Because I just can't see Brinkley sitting down and rewriting his stupid Kerry book again, and again, and again, and again..." |

This just illustrates the Kerry-idolizing bias of Brinkley. But we all knew that. Historians, like documentary makers, are supposed to be neutral. Here's another unexposed charlatan! |

Douglas Brinkley doesn't give a damn about Kerry at this point...it's his OWN reputation he's trying to save from the dungheap of pure political pap.
"GO BUG HIM!" was the phrase he offered to the news media when the obvious falsehoods of his "hagiography" were brought to light. |

Oh Brinkley can't help it --- he wouldn't know a real war hero if one bopped him on his pointy head --- he is just all wrap up in his hero worship of the psuedo human being
Kerry can't run again without signing the form 180.
The only decent think Kerry has done this year is concede. |

I wouldn't mind doing this again,
but I'd rather see Kerry officially disqualified.
Either way works. |

I'll keep saying it until the job is done. Never underestimate Humpty Dumpty. He still has enormous resources and about half the country behind him. Elevation to the lofty position of Senate Minority Leader would only add voters. And of course, any additional publicity for Humpty, good or bad, adds pennies to Brinkley's pocket. And the more Brinkley's book earns, the more popular Humpty becomes, and so on and on.
The election was just an early battle in an all out war. He must not be allowed to hide again. He must be exposed. The iron is hot and now is precisely the right time to strike. Our resources consist of Swiftees, POWs, MIAs, Special Forces, Green Berets and many other veterans organized or not. We will never be stronger and will never have a brighter spotlight. In short, we'll never have a better opportunity to defeat Humpty once and for all. _________________ '58 Airedale HMR(L)-261 VMO-2 |

Most mammals only need to touch the electric fence once to figure out why it hurts , if Brinkley and the rest of the Kerry-Bots want to run him for Dog-Catcher I say Bring it On. This was not about Bush, so run kerry run! _________________ __________________________

A Master Chief Corpman on another wrote;
"John Kerry appeared to be about to cry at the end of his "speech" This gesture almost got to me until I remembered from my days on the "Ward" that the only time I ever saw a sociopath cry was when their efforts were thwarted and they failed to get what "They Wanted"."
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
This Master Chief presented a case for a sociopath.
I believe I saw a similar case presented on this site. |

Brinkleys fictional novel is the mainsail of Ks rowboat. In Ausi and Brittish papers,as well as a number of quasi intellectual sites not to exclude msm it's cited as the ultimate resource of the true nature of the" fictional hero". Brinkleys academic licience has been questioned by a few of his peers. He had direct contact with the evill one., and then authored the book. He used notes records journals that were provided-He researched {read those} and did his thing. Academians aren't suppose to do that. His membership in the ranks of historical writters is threatend by the book and the ad about going up the creek. If you google Brinkley Kerry you can find places to criticise or question him .It would indeed be a shame if his peers knew he was a pubic relations person. At one time he was a fine researcher/author. Think he would tell us what he saw? |

Brinkley long ago bought into the revisionism of the left. He has a LONG history of that. He's one of the more prolific architects of modern revisionist history.
He just got caught with his fingers in the cookie jar this time. _________________ USMC 69-72, 7th Comm, 3rd MarDiv, FMFPAC

I would not be surpised to see Kerry run again.....because they will have to put up an alternative to Hillary....just to see if she has real support.
I believe the status of Kerry's metals and discharge need to be resolved long long before 2008. |
