It is a nice rumor that would make a fantastic fact! |

I would certainly trust John O'Neill or any of the Swifts with any position in our government.
But, just think how that would look.
Can't you hear the KookAde drinkers screaming at the mere mention? "WE TOLD YOU THESE SWIFT LIARS WERE PAID BUSH SHILLS!!!"
Come to think of it, it gives me a grin - I love to see them all demented like that. _________________ ~ Echo Juliet ~

Wow wouldn't that just freak 'em out! would love it!
but does JOhn really need that kind of c**p?
besides, I heard today that Ashcroft was feelling better now that he'd had his gall bladder surgery.... and also that Bush was re-elected with such a high number!
I'd certainly trust them more than anyone else I can think of! |

FOX reported this morning that Ashcroft and Rumsfeld would be stepping down. As for Mr. O'Neill becoming Attorney General I think he deserves the position if he wants it. Why should Bush care what the Democrats scream now? They are so bittter they are going to be screaming for the next four years anyway. |

Putting politics aside. John O'Neil is the perfect man for the job. I have never seen another man remain so calm while being sqeezed so hard.

Heck, consider politics. John is reportedly a
Democrat, so appointing him would be
"reaching across the aisle".
Of course, after the way the Kerry campaign,
DNC and legacy media treated him, maybe he's
a recovering Democrat now. |

He might not like Bush all that much either if he is a Democrat. I bet he felt odd when he voted then. |

That won't happen (no experience as a judge, AFAIK).
But Solicitor General is another possibility. |
