Unconquered Men
(With veneration to Ralph Waldo Emerson’s Concord Hymn)
From Swift Boats they did brave the flood,
Their flag to autumn’s breeze unfurled,
Here again, embattled sailors stood,
And fired the shot heard round the world.
Their foe no longer silence kept,
Believing that the veteran sleeps;
That Time’s assured his treason‘s swept
Down history’s stream which backward creeps.
Tween hostile banks of media’s stream,
They fixed the sights of truth’s own gun;
Seeking but their honor to redeem,
And stay the march of Judas’ son.
Their Spirit made these warriors dare
To keep their nation’s honor free,
But Time and Nature will declare
Their honored place in history.

Very good. How's this:
There was a Senator named John
Who for the office of president did run
The Swifties said no
This traitor's got to go
That's why Teresa's John is now done |

The muse is upon me....
A certain young sailor named Kerry
Found Viet Nam duty too scary
Flaunting medals he'd earned
Further duty he spurned
No longer in Viet Nam did he tarry

Kerry is a hairy man
a tall dark and scary man
he's never ever glad you see
his larder's stocked with misery
He plots and schemes all through the night
his imaginings are hells delight
He's at the devils beck and call
with nasty tricks both great and small
Satans pact he'd not decline
he signed in blood the dotted line
with unHoly oath he did declare
his soul is now the devils share
Wealth and power did Satan bring
he dangled the nation on a string
but when it comes the time to pay
old John Kerry will rue the day _________________ Hey swifty, I'm with you, Just watch you don't get "Kerry'd away in the propwash
