Place your dear ones for adoption in prayer with The Presidential Prayer Team
http://www.presidentialprayerteam.com/troopsadopt.php
Almighty God, we commend to your gracious care and keeping all the men and women of our armed forces at home and abroad. Defend them day by day with your heavenly grace; strengthen them in their trials and temptations; give them courage to face the perils which beset them; and grant them a sense of your abiding presence wherever they may be; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

I have a son and daughter there. Son is a Stryker, daughter is a Navy trauma nurse, attached to the Marines. Heard from them both this weekend, praise God. Saying (and hearing) "I love you" takes on even more importance these days.
I pray Psalm 91 over them all. _________________ The last refuge of scoundrels is not patriotism; it is finicky liberal humanitarianism.--Martin Paretz |

Psalm 91 is my favorite passage of scripture.
....a thousand may fall at your side, ten thousand at your right hand, but it will not come near you, you will only observe with your eyes and see the punishment of the wicked....
AMEN. |

Thank you for posting that link I registered my brother who is stationed in Iraq and I adopted a couple to pray for. _________________ Kerry was in Vietnam for only four months, which, coincidentally, is less than the combined airtime he's spent talking about it.
