That's why Kerry never said he was sorry. He believes he did the right thing in 1971 and now. |

Let's not forget to add Benedict Arnold to that illustrious list.
He and John Kerry have a lot in common. Except Arnold was a hell of a lot better soldier than Kerry was. But they both commited treason and each thought they were right.

Quote: | Kerry fueled talk about a 2008 bid during remarks at a Washington restaurant Saturday night. He provoked a thunderous reaction by reminding about 400 campaign aides and volunteers that Ronald Reagan twice sought the Republican nomination for president before winning it in 1980. | If this creep is preparing for 2008 then I would like to inform Admiral Hoffman that he can count on me to stand with him and the other members of the CTF115 Markettime Forces in opposing any future bids by John Kerry for POTUS or any other elected position in our country. _________________ Swift Boats - Qui Nhon (12/69-4/70), Cat Lo (4/70-5/70), Vung Tau (5/70-12/71) |

Kerry may believe he's right, and may feel that receiving 48% of the vote entitles him to another run at the Presidency.
But I would sincerely hope the Democratic Party (whichever one surfaces between now and 2008) will vett whoever their candidate is.
All questions have to be answered and all potential roadblocks need to be removed. Otherwise, it'll just be a repeat of 2004, whoever the Republican candidate may be.
For Kerry, that means an apology, releasing all of his records, and answering all questions regarding his treasonous actions and illegal activities. If he can't/won't do that, the Democrats need to think long and hard about another Kerry nomination.
Even if Kerry does do all of the above, he remains damaged goods, and someone a lot of Democrats will have a hard time rallying behind. |

What about the charges against him? These ARE legitimate charges! They MUST be addressed and he MUST be held accountable! Surely everyone isn't simply turning their backs to everthing, to all the hard work/evidence, proof, etc. that the SVPT have finally been able to get out in the open and uncovered?
While I'm overjoyed that he was defeated (this time), he needs to be - no, he MUST be - removed from our political system once and for all.
He has been exposed as an American traitor for God's sake! Whether "they" like it or not, this country WAS founded by godly, principled men that would have dealt swiftly with the likes of him!
And Ted Koppel/Mark Halperin/ABC News should go down with him for attempting, even considering, to discredit our very own soldiers with communist enemy testimony!!
Our prayers continue to go out for American Justice to be served upon John Kerry. |

The Democratic Party didnīt care about the release of records, answering
questions or anything else pertaining to their candidate, known as
John the Pretender.
They sent out their Washington lawyers to smear
anyone who tried to tell the truth. I donīt
look for them to change in the future.
By the way USMCWayne, happy USMC birthday.

I have no doubt that sKerry did, and still does, rationalize that he's right. The evils of self-rationalization, uncontrolled ego, and lust for power are the three legs of all tyrannys - Communism, Facism, and all despotisms. (Unfortunately, sKerry seems to be suffering from all three faults.)
One of the great strokes of genius in the formulation of our Democratic Repubic is the power of the vote to balance self-delusion. Thus, though a candidate may have rationalized his own delusions, and his immediate circle of friends may even have supported his rationalization, the vote of the whole electorate is required to validate a position. And this validation sKerry just lost (though he still doesn't know it yet; nor do, apparently, his circle of "friends"). |

Jane Fonda thought what she was doing during the war at the time too... At least she apologized. |

One other item most of us are forgetting is Kerry is still a member of one of the most exclusive old boys club in the world, the U.S. Senate.
The chances of them doing anything to disrupt the status quo and taking action against another member is about the same as the odds of Dubya getting disowned by Bush 41. |

No, Hanoi Jane apologized to a small town in NY so she could make a movie there after they protested her visit. Wanna bet what she supports now? I could see both of them dancing in NVA uniforms in the moonlight laughing at the small people that supported and funded them while they were sticking it to the US. Hanoi Jane believed in the communist cause so much that she married one of the wealthiest men in the world. Somehow her cause doesn't follow her actions. That show was for all the little people.

Don't worry, Hillary and her secret police have 4 years to destroy Kerry. He couldn't keep the Clintonistas out of his campaign and he won't be able to stop the Clinton wing of his own party from destroying him permanently.
Hillary never leaves anything to chance, she will sew up her nomination before she even announces she is running. _________________ "The price of freedom is eternal vigilence" - Thomas Jefferson
