If anyone would know about witches it would be Steisand. I'm sorry, I misspelled witches. That ought to be spelled with a "B". _________________ Swift Boats - Qui Nhon (12/69-4/70), Cat Lo (4/70-5/70), Vung Tau (5/70-12/71) |

I have never recommended anything by Barbra S. However, "What's Up Doc?" has some funny stuff in it. It is funny despite Bababwa being in the picture.
As far as the witches thing, Barbra may be right. Nobody knows more about witches than her.

Babs can babble all she wants. It will not change the truth. We all know she has nuerotic tendencies and phobias, thus, to take what she says literally is as foolish as she is. |

If Jefferson was alive today, I am sure he would be a Republican. He would have a fit seeing the Dems being taken over by communists and socialists. |

Quote: | and those who have once got an ascendency and possessed themselves of all the resources of the nation, their revenues and offices, have immense means for retaining their advantages. |
If anyone has resoureces and revenues, its the Forbes, Heinz's, Streisands, Kennedys, etc....
and they want to retain those advantages.... Income tax does not tax their wealth but only the income made off of SOME of it.... So, when the Dems talk of tax increases for the wealthy -- they really mean tax increases for those making $ in the general economy -- those trying to better themselves- not the wealthy (whose income is sheltered) like themselves. How much is Babs worth and what kind of income tax does she pay ???
Also, these making this higher income are the ones who may be able to climb into the ranks of the wealthy - a club that the already wealthy don't want to open up ....
Once again, Jefferson has words of wisdom .... |

As my father told me when I was young, "you are not rich until you no longer have to work and your money does all the work for you."
John Kerry and Babs do not understand and are completely clueless as to what work is. They have had their money work for them for too many years to remember what work is like. Well in Johns case I do not think he has ever worked. _________________ "An activist is the person who cleans up the water, not the one claiming its dirty."

She's the one that was actively trying to get everyone in California to conserve electricity and gasoline.
Then when a photographer took an aerial picture of her sprawling mansion on the seashore, with heated outdoor pool, lights galore and numerous mercedes, jaguars and lincoln limos parked in her driveway.
She sued him to keep the picture off the internet, and lost.
What a hipocrite!

Didn't they first go after witches in Massachusetts, where Kerry is a Senator?
Maybe Babs can save gasoline, and give up her SUV's for a broom! _________________ The traitor will crater! |

He could be a member of the Constatutionalist Party. He did write the thing so why not be a member of a party named after his work? |

Jefferson wrote the Declaration of Independance and really had little impact on the writing of the constitution. Alexander Hamilton, James Madison and John Jay wrote a series of papers to the New York Press titled the Federalist Papers in whidch they argued for which form of goverment and constitution we should have. The primary reference these 3 individuals used was John Adams 3 volume book titled Defence of the Constitutions where Adams basically described every form of government ever invented in the history of mankind and the pros and cons. Something I might add only tookm him a few months to write all the while being involved in many other projects. Finally, Madison was assigned the task to write our constitution and the rest is history. _________________ "An activist is the person who cleans up the water, not the one claiming its dirty."
